I miss the basement for storage. However I do NOT miss having to lug the laundry down and then back up when done!

You all (excuse me, I'm Southern, that should be ya'll) got me to thinking (and that can be dangerous), that I need to find a lot with 'catestrophic ground collapse' so that in effect it has already been excavated for a basement and build on top of it. :laugh:
Or, a swimming pool. How low can it go? Can a hole that has 'catestrophic ground collapse' have 'catestrophic ground collapse' again? I'm sure glad I learned the difference between that and 'sink hole'.
