We must be thankful for every day and mindful of the stressful situation we all are experiencing.

That is just ONE of the reasons you are so loved Beady.

RR,
From my perspective, your heart has always been filled with compassion, and compassion is probably the most important asset we have. It's the one thing I always hoped to pass on to my children.

Blondie, I so agree with you on this. I had always hoped to raise kind compassinate children. It did not matter if they didnt get top grades in school,it didnt matter if they were the best player on the soccer team, I just wanted them to be Kind, sensitive, adults, and if they turned out to be good people then I knew I did my job right! I am so proud to say, my kids are "the Best!" (drive me crazy at times yes indeed, but overall Great adults!)

Let's make this a week in which we love one another regardless of our worldly beliefs

TKRET...... and everyone.... these inspirational posts will keep me warm during the upcoming Oregon winter :clap2:

How ironic that some few individuals have chosen, this week, to establish their own Forum away from TOTV

Y'all are the BEST !:agree:

Very Nice.

"Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection. The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure ("I loved that meal") to intense interpersonal attraction ("I love my girlfriend"). This diversity of meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states."

Here's hoping everyone of you have a great day and a great week. Someone once pointed out that when Jesus commanded that "We love one another" He never said that we needed to agree with one another. Let's make this a week in which we love one another regardless of our worldly beliefs. Although I don't know most of the TOTVers, I can understand what Wikipedia states above ("generic pleasure") because I feel grateful that I found this site and learn from your input. Thank you.

A beautiful post Tk. Look forward to meeting you. :)

Dearest Nonie.

Apples don't fall far from the tree.

Love is what you are made of.

We all are Gracie, We just need to realize it.

Blondie 10-13-2008 02:20 PM

Nonie, According to my definition of success, you are one of the most successful folks I know, and I bet your kids have benefitted greatly for it. BTW, when are you returning...I hope it's before I leave. :)

I agree with all of you...Sometimes a persons tongue can cut sharper than a knife, and we all need to stay focused on the feelings of others..

We have all been good friends here, laughing, sharing ups and downs, that was why TOTV was such a huge success, we met here, hung out here and shared our hopes and dreams here..

Lets hope and pray the coming week will be better for all of us!

Cassie325 10-13-2008 04:12 PM

Donna...your post was perfect!! Thank you....no matter what our differences...no matter where our lives take us....no matter what has happened....we have been here on TOTV for each other...no matter who we are, where we are, what gender, what race, what age....we are important to each other.

TOTV is the best website for anyone interested in TV's and the people in or wanting to be in...or living just outside (Pete and Frank to name a few)....

Political talk, lawn and landscaping, sink holes, lunches out.....and so many topics...so many interests...so many opportunities to make friends and buddies....as Donna would say...."our peeps".....

I hope we stay this way...I have much hope and great faith that we will....

I don't think you all know how much better I feel. This is the type of conversation we are suppose to be having here. I hope that this tone continues for a long time.

The TOTV cruise was the first opportunity that Amity and I had to get to know some of the members.
We came back all lit up like light bulbs feeling that we had met some great people and made lots of friends. We really really enjoyed our time with EVERYBODY. Tony and I had the rare opportunity to have some private time with almost everybody, individually while on the cruise. When I would see one of our people, I would think, "hey, there's so and so, I hope we have time to talk." I have been on over a dozen cruises and this was one of the most enjoyable for me, thanks to ALL of the TOTV members who were there.

Agreed!

I agree with you 100% Jan. That was a wonderful time. TOTV'ers are the best in the world. And so are you admins. A special thank you to you 3 guys. :eclipsee_gold_cup:

beady 10-13-2008 06:47 PM

I agree with Jan and Chelsea and everyone else that has posted on this thread.

The cruise was delightful and I so enjoyed getting to know my fellow TOTV "peeps". They are all terrific people.....how would I have ever connected with you all without TOTV.

I will say again something I said in this thread. These are stressful times for us all and we must keep that in mind and be extra kind to each other.

renielarson 10-13-2008 07:00 PM

I wish only the best for all of you. I wish not only a better week for you but for me also because I have been deeply hurt this past week. God bless you all.

nONIE 10-13-2008 07:11 PM

Amen to all your sincere posts . Today I received something in an e-mail that seemed so appropriate in view of all the recent discord.

"Continue to rise to the Challenge to choose love . That is the most important thing you can do during these troubled times."
