I had my Moderna booster two weeks ago at the VA in Mulberry, no side effects at all. I also got my flu shot at Walgreens, along with the two Moderna shots back in Feb and March at Publix, I feel safe.

So that's 18,777 more people have died from COVID than the number of voters he won by. Plus we're only 7,000 away from surpassing the total number of US miliarty killed in Vietnam.

Gotta love that personal choice agenda, especially when we're fighting an unseen enemy, known as COVID. Plus, I heard that a General Willey Coyote made a call to Moderna AND Pfizer, the enemy of our enemy...

As a Vietnam veteran (disabled) I think there is not a comparison. That was a seven or eight year war. Most there who were in jungle combat were drafted and had no choice but to go. The average age I think was 18.5 years. The Chinese virus deaths may or may not be reported correctly and many had physical heath issues already. In Vietnam millions were wounded, lost limbs and scared mentally for life at a very young age. Many today are dying from the spraying of Agent Orange and other chemicals.

If you got your booster at the VA, why didn't you get your flu shot there also? Just curious. I am kind of surprised that the VA would give a Moderna IF it has not been approved as a booster yet. Maybe they were given different information than the public.

I guess not everyone who is not able to be vaccinated for medical reasons feels the need to protect themselves with a protective mask, so that is on them.

Wait, didn't you say earlier that one MUST wear the mask to protect OTHERS from the virus?

I got my booster by appointment at 11:00 am and the flu shots are only given 1:30 to 3:30 T-W-T, I didn't feel like hanging around for two hours. When I mentioned coming back after lunch, they said to wait a day before getting a flu shot.

To go to the VA is 11 miles up Buena Vista from my house, about 35 minutes each way. I can go to Walgreens with no appointment, usually I can get one right away without much wait. When I come home from MVP a few days a week, I go right by the Walgreens at Pinellas.

Did they give a reason for using moderna when it’s not approved

.......AND, over 50,000 that committed suicide.

Reiver 09-27-2021 01:10 PM

O.P. needs to adjust his comparison..
A 1975 US Senate subcommittee estimated around 1.4 million civilian casualties in South Vietnam because of the war, including 415,000 deaths.

He wasn’t talking about civilian deaths and having been in that war starting with the French 1st parachute battalion of the French Foreign Legion in 1954 and multiple years i( I’m American) first in army then a civilian in Vietnam , Cambodian and Laos I can tell you that you could probably double that civilian body count

No, I got a letter about 3 weeks and it said the booster shots were available for those who qualify. I called them and got appointment the next week. I guess the danger of the shot is outweighed by the danger of catching COVID 19.

charlieo1126@gmail.com 09-27-2021 02:15 PM

I wasn’t criticizing I was just asking what reason they had to use it when it’s not approved I got my Pfizer Saturday after I came back with shot cards but the VA in Gainesville sent me an email today asking if I wanted the booster , I had received my 2 shots up there in January

They were instructed to do so... From those up the food chain...
