Have bought cabinet handles and door pulls. Better variety than Lowe's/Home Depot and got exactly as described.

Also got bedroom dresser and nightstand. Assembly instructions were easy to decipher (hubby is a retired aircraft mechanic tho!). Also compared outdoor furniture sent to Overstock and did save some money, but they may not always have the same item at Overstock.

Overall satisfied with Wayfair purchase we have made.

Because of the quality issues on the same product 3 different times, we will never purchase from them again.

I’ve bought furniture and household items. All on time and as described. Return policy is extremely easy if needed.

Saving $$ is very exciting. Someone told me once that "fools pay retail."

I have made numerous purchases from Wayfair without a single incident. I have been very satisfied with multiple furniture items in the past few years.

I have ordered multiple pieces from them. Keep in mind everything needs to be assembled. I have had trouble with screw holes in the wrong place , pieces broken or cracked, etc. They were wonderful replacing the pieces - some they sent a whole new box and told me to throw out or give away the other box. You just have to understand that this is a possibility

Bonded leather

Is price of item an indication of quality or manufacturer? Several years ago I purchased leather from White's and found the arms were only bonded leather and unfortunately the arms broke down leaving a perfectly good leather recliner. Paid top prices for it at White's.

We had that exact same experience at White’s . Had to throw the whole chair away. Lesson learned. I always inquire about any leather furniture—genuine leather or bonded.

We purchased from them at the recommendation of a neighbor who decorates. We have purchased end tables, night stands, an extendable table, bathroom cabinets (which I painted to match the vanity), lanae rugs, cupboards, cabinets for storage to name a few. Several of the items had to be assembled, but no problems. I also ordered 4 Japanese room dividers. One was damaged in shipping and they refunded the cost and told me to pitch it. Now that's trust. We like the l x w x d search feature. You can see all of the items that will fit your space.

It's an honest mega store with reasonable prices. You get what you pay for. Rugs were so so. We bought many of their big end items and they were very nice. The main reason we used Wayfair was shipping speed. We waited days or weeks. The big furniture stores .. 6 months or more.

A little pricey, but high quality products delivered on time. Used them several times.Their shipping is expensive. But all-in you get the quality that you’d get from a high-end furniture store.

Have used Wayfair successfully and happily many times. Also have extensive experience with Overstock.com and have been happy with them too. We remodeled a house and bought many things from both companies. Read all the reviews of anything you are planning to purchase.

Thank you for your input. We love the chair, it is super comfortable and only the arms are absolutely gone. I even tried to find someone to cover the arms, no one can do it. So I purchased arm covers which are a pain because they move all the time. The chair has seen its best days and it has to go, but it was exactly what we wanted at the time.

We furnished our whole house from Whites and this was the only piece that was a problem, everything else was top quality. I have since been told that bonded leather is no longer in use.

Wayfair

I have bought tons of things from Wayfair. The quality varies. I look at the reviews on everything I buy from there. If most are good with only a few negative ones, I'll buy but always read the reviews first.

I won't buy furniture like a chair or sofa as everybody has a different opinion about the comfort of seating (too soft, too hard etc) and I just feel as though you need to be able to actually sit on it to know if it will be comfortable for you.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Wayfair has a "sister" type site called perigold, which you may find has pricier and a bit more upscale furniture and accessories. Also, consider places from the furniture marts in North Carolina: we've bought from both Furnitureland and Goode;s .. brand names that typically destroy local pricing with better service and exceptional "white glove" delivery.
