I’ve used them a lot. I’ve bought recliners, sofa, tables, and many other things. Once, there was a tiny spot on a table but hidden enough where I was fine keeping it. Always read the reviews though. I prefer them to overstock.

Wayfair is hit or miss for us, slightly positive net, but have had many of the issues people have described. However, trying to find a particular piece of furniture which you have a particular place for in your house and in your creative mind, does take a lot of time. Sometimes months, of looking everywhere, on line and in stores. . .

We looked for almost a month in stores and on line for a outside entrance way item to attach to the stucco. . . and nothing was "perfect" so we did finally settle on something, but perfection was not there. .

Did you try o.co? I did a search for “dinette” and got 700 hits

We ordered a recliner from Wayfair two years ago and it's still going strong. I too was nervous about getting it because they had a no return policy on it. BUT never had any issues to report back to them. I'd order again! Our son and his wife ordered a sofa. We haven't seen it except for photos----it looks great.
There's always a possible issue in mail-ordering. Some years ago I ordered a set of sheets from Macy's that came, then another pair was also sent from a different distribution center. NOT sure why we got two sets and billed for only one!

Check for table set at First Baptist Thrift Store in LEESBURG!

Before you order elsewhere, check out the thrift store.
Their furniture selection is amazing and they put out new merchandise daily.

As for Wayfair…We’ve been pleased with most items we’ve purchased. Their replacement policy for a damaged piece is superb.
You’d bear the expense of return for something you didn’t care for though.

I ordered a little table to put in entrance way to my house. I waited about 10 days and then it arrived. As soon as I took it out of the box I noticed that a conner of the table was damaged. I called customer service and they told me to send them a picture which I did. Once they received the picture they said they were sending me a replacement table. They never asked for the damaged table back. I fixed it as best I could and I am using it in another part of my house. The replacement table arrived with no damage. Wayfair did right by me to correct the issue and did it in a timely manner. I would order from them again.

In looking for new small oval 4-6 person table for kitchen nook, maybe with a leaf, all the furniture stores are failing my endeavor.

Most tables are too large, poor quality, or not in stock for months. I have been to Babette’s, White’s, Rooms to Go, Kent, and couple more. Kent had the most available, but just not exactly.

So did you buy furniture like, tables, tv table, couch, chairs, from Wayfair? If so, good, bad, ugly? If bad how was the return process. If you didn’t like it could you return?

I recently ordered and returned curtains. Prior to purchasing I looked at the website and it said return would be $5 shipping. When in actuality it was over $11. Maybe they should update their website.

I have purchased furniture from Wayfair and Amazon over the years. I read many reviews before I pull the trigger and have never been unhappy with the exception of color. I ordered some counter stools labeled as red but were actually stained brown with a reddish tint, like cherry wood. I kept them because they were a great price and I didn’t want the hassle of returning them. I painted them and I love them now. I’ve read returns to Wayfair are a pain so if I’m on the fence, I skip it. Many of the exact same items are available on Amazon so I usually compare prices. I would much rather purchase from Amazon as the returns are so easy. I also go to Bargains and Treasures periodically and have bought and sold through them. Great fun shopping there! As a side note, when we moved here, we kept our home in IL and had to replace the awful turnkey furniture left with our Villa. We went to purchase a sofa recliner identical to the one we liked in IL. The price was much higher here. We told them what we paid in IL and they matched that price. Prior to that experience, it never occurred to me to offer less than the ticket price on furniture. Lesson learned.

First purchase from them was years ago now. Was very nervous, but just delighted when order arrived. After that, ordered a number of items over the years. Only one item ever came damaged, an "apothecary" style chest, unique style. Called immediately and they apologized profusely, I asked about return instructions for the damaged chest, they told me they were sending out a replacement THAT SAME DAY, and told me to donate the damaged chest to a "worthy cause" ! After that experience, I've ordered a number of things, from bar stools, to full size table with folding leaves and matching chairs, end tables, and many other things. Very happy with them for about 7 years now !

This has been our experience through the years. We only had one damaged item (nightstand) several years ago and they said donate it and sent us a new one. The damage wasn’t visible but hubs still didn’t want to keep it. We just bought four counter height swivel stools for our kitchen counter, and every one is perfect and very high quality. We also just had a headboard for guest room delivered that we haven’t assembled yet because daughter is visiting, so we’ll see how it turns out. And we just received a small wood table with two chairs set last week for our porch that turned out very nice. The only thing we don’t like is the cushions because they’re not thick enough and are too firm. We can replace them though. I’ve had some great luck recently buying small furniture items from Amazon too.

We did see nook table and chair sets we liked at Family furniture in Leesburg recently, but didn’t ask about delivery time as we went in right before store closing and didn’t have time. We’re going back soon because we really loved the store.

Have you looked at IKEA? They have very versatile dining sets.

I wanted super modern living room furniture so I ordered from Wayfair and Modern.com whichever had the best price for the same item. Wayfair has always stood behind their products, I, too, had a very small dent in the corner of a nightstand that could easily have been hidden, but I called them and they credited me the whole cost for the damage. I found them to be incredibly cooperative in everything I bought if a question arose.

I bought a large desk from Wayfair. It’s of good quality and attractive. Also a beautiful wall mirror as well as a few other small items. Barstools I purchased were cheap so I returned them. But that was my fault for not studying the reviews and description close enough. Wayfair usually does a nice job with product details and the reviews provide honest experience with the product. Return process was easy but I don’t remember the cost. It wasn’t outrageous though. But because I do not like paying for return shipping if I find something I like on Wayfair I’ll first check Amazon Prime for availability and price.

I’ve purchased a wooden dining table for two kit, a 6’ long tv stand kit, a complete backboard with shelves for a bed, and several area rugs from Wayfair with good results. Note that a lot of this furniture is made of medium density fiberboard coated with thin melamine, not solid wood. The fiberboard is prone to damage in shipping, but mine has been well packed.

I have a friend who has bought a lot of her furniture from Wayfair. A few months ago she bought a four person game table covered with mirrors. In the box it weighed 120 pounds. Made in India. Cost $1,000. It seems to have been dropped from a truck in shipping, and one corner was slightly crushed. Wayfair sent another. Same problem. Not Wayfair’s fault you understand. It may have been damaged in India. Wayfair sent another. Same problem. They wouldn’t send any more, but they didn’t charge her a penny! The tables were potentially repairable, but damaged, and they wouldn’t look perfect. Wayfair told her to give the tables to Habitat for Humanity or something similar. She did.

If you use Wayfair, read the specifications carefully! Another friend bought a dining table. Again, from India. When it arrived, it was left at her front door, and it weighed 350 pounds! Turned out the top was solid marble, 3x6’, and 1.5” thick, and she hadn’t noticed that detail. Friends helped her move it into the living room, but in laying it down sideways it slipped out of their hands and scraped her ankle, leaving her with a wound that got infected and took a couple months to heal. It was nearly a month before she could bring together four old guys willing to lift and flip the marble and set it on top of the table legs.

I've bought Adirondack chairs and table and various other pieces from Wayfair. Always
been very happy with the quality. In fact I'm waiting for delivery of a small outdoor table and chairs and a desk to be delivered this week.
