We recently moved in to an unfurnished home in TV. I purchased a bunch of furniture from Kent up in Belleville (good selection, excellent customer service, but not inexpensive). The rest of the house was furnished from Wayfair. Bed, dresser, mattress-in-a-box, nightstand, 6 lamps, barstools, kitchen table/chairs, lanai furniture, etc. Everything arrived when promised, in prime condition. Prices were excellent, quality good (not as good as Kent, but less than half the price). Just plan to spend lots of time assembling it all with an allen wrench (provided). A power drill with allen attachment is helpful on some pieces.

The company is losing a billion dollars and cutting jobs massively. I don’t see the losses leading to a sustainable business.

If you follow the stock market you would know that Wayfair is having some serious problems. Then again, you're buying their furniture, not their stock. Overstock.com has a different (and better) business model. I've bought items from both, but would only invest in one.

Can hardly go wrong.

So did you buy furniture like, tables, tv table, couch, chairs, from Wayfair? If so, good, bad, ugly? If bad how was the return process. If you didn’t like it could you return?

Bought an electric recliner about 2 years ago. They sent the wrong one. Even the color was wrong. When I contacted them for a return, they credited my account and told me to keep the chair. It was okay for me because the color was close enough to go with the decor, but if I didn’t want to keep it, I don’t know how much of a hassle it would have been for them to pick it up.
I’ve heard too many other ‘wrong item sent’ stories to trust Wayfair again.

Anyway, thanks for the humor, unialimon. Not only was the picture timely, but it also took me back to the days when Mr. Boomer’s and my furniture looked pretty much like that.

Gotta luv that allen wrench……..It could be a good idea to have some toothpicks on-hand, just in case a pre-drilled hole is too big and/or threads won’t grab.
