They are being fed now at 4:14 p.m. All three are there!! Scanned the discussion. Nothing out of place.

I am so happy that some of you are enjoying the Eagle Cam as much as I am!

I am laughing at the note from bxmt54, who was worried about eaglets being missing. A couple of days ago I decided one eaglet was missing and that I should notify the Cam Admins. Hahaha. They assured me all three eglets were just fine. The worried comments on the Eagle Site must drive the Cam Admins crazy!

Barefoot - I've gotten very attached to them and will be really sad when they all fly away and leave the nest...:sigh: I leave the sight up all day when I'm home and just kind of check in on them as I'm passing by the computer. At work I sit at the computer for 8 hours so I have the site minimized for the most part but I pop the screen up every so often just for a quick look and show it to whoever is here in the office with me. Everyone has gotten such a kick out of it. Watching them is kind of habit forming!

Bare, I saw that question in the side posts. Didn't know it was yours! Too funny. Now Mom sits beside the nest and watches over. All three are visible in the nest. The oldest one looks like (s)he's already getting restless. Just saw Momma shake her head hard and appear to be speaking (cam has no sound). She musta been scolding them.
:cryin2: Oh well, they gotta learn.

A viewer asked the question this morning "Is there a cat in the nest"? Gotta love people's imaginations.

The moderators have to constantly reassure viewers that the eaglets are well and safe and haven't starved or fallen out of the nest. Apparently this mother eagle is well experienced and has already successfully raised 13 eaglets.

The mother eagle is very gentle with her babies. She bunches her talons up into balls when she walks around the nest so she won't injure the babies.

Nonie, I know you love birds so I thought you'd like this site.
