The dissertation (post # 29) does not apply to just "priests" and "nuns"......but to any and all groups of similar human cross section/make up.
Bar none! It is unfortunate the Catholic faith is made to be such a target.

Good grief, what is with you Christians who always feel you are being "attacked" no one is attacking you because they don't believe in fairy tales.

It isn't only Christians. People react whenever they sense any disparagement of their most cherished bastions of belief. Religion, politics, habits, customs, etc, almost anything they fee strongly about.

Unfortunately the Catholic church is the most corrupt of all along with TV Evangelists just keep giving money.
Salvation can not be bought!

i don't know if i should say this, but i always had a bad feeling about that guy. i was raised Catholic, so i can believe a lot of what the negative media has said, -but this guy benedict,...idk. he gave me the creeps from day 1.

If you are going to follow any "holy" book, you shouldn't be able to pick and choose what parts of the book you ascribe to or don't. I don't think the bible is in favor of any form of LGBTQ. As an individual you can believe what ever you like but as a church doctrine I would so no. Personally, I'm not a big believer in religion and feel people are entitled to do mostly whatever they feel and or believe as long as they do no harm to anyone else.

It is written: “’As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God

Regarding Catholic clergy coming “out” in Germany: Gay and lesbian clergy have existed for a long time, and the clergy are just being honest about it and owning their identity. Don’t really know much about the non-binary thing so I’ll remain respectful.

Then there are those people who don't know me personally such as waiters and cashiers. and they proclaim for me to "Have a Blessed Day". There are many that say it to me. Even some new newscaster on WESH 2 says it. It is really annoying that the station has not stopped her from saying it. Although that simple phrase is offensive to me. I say nothing to anyone who says, "Have a blessed day". I do not acknowledge though.

How big must one think of themselves to think there is no God .,Of course we were warned when we became believers we would be attacked for following a religion by
those with no belief. We can feel sorry for they know not what they do .

Please, don't feel sorry for me. Thanks.

Nah......LOL....just like those folks who have refused the Covid vaccine plead with their doctor for the vaccine right before they are being put on a ventilator.

Are they trying to confuse us?

What is non-binary? I understand the term binary mathematically. So, I can imagine non-binary meaning not based upon two. But it seems to me that this is not referring to biology. Yet it seems that these individuals don't accept they are what we commonly label by pronouns such as he or she.

Sounds like a term that some have invented to describe a view of life, but not a scientific description of a being. Are there non-binary dogs, fish, birds?

The question is that as we classify things scientifically wouldn't physical characteristics still apply. Male, female, neuter, and then further definition to describe, race, sexual orientation, etc. Thus, wouldn't pronouns he and she be acceptable?

The term has been pretty commonly used in conversational terms for the past 10 years. The concept has existed since the 1700's. It was less widely used, but still not "uncommon" as early as 2003 (almost 20 years ago).

Might be helpful to branch out your knowledge base a little.
