Of all of the cars I have owned, my favorite was my teal blue 1971 MGB - loved it but hated cleaning the wire wheels with a toothbrush. :)

I have two favorites. The first was a red 1967 Austin-Healy 3000 Mark III and the second was a 1968 Lotus Elan. The Lotus was British Racing Green and a coupe. Very rare. I wish I had them both today.

My favorite car was a 2005 Toyota Avalon. That was some sweet riding car, extremely comfortable.

Amazing how many of our favorite cars are either muscle cars or sports cars. Rarely the car we drive today.

Burgundy or maroon in color, beige leather seats. It was a nice replacement for our 1965 little black Renault....but that was like a "toy" car....push buttons....really easy to drive. Not sure if they even make Renaults anymore. It was French. Brand new $1,500. The Renault replaced our dating car....a "57 Chevy"; he also had a "55 Chevy" that my dad gave him. Both kind of aqua in color; two tone. We've been through so many cars the past 50 years............ but like FUMAR......now have a new Lincoln Town Car that hubby gifted himself with when he retired....... Up in Vermont, cars are not really status symbols ......but our relatives down in N.J. all had the latest upscale autos like Buick Rivieras (back in the day); Cadilacs (back in the day) and now Lexus'..........and monster size S.U.V.'s..... |
1988 Jaguar XJ6.

Citroen and Austin Marina

Would that be the same kind of car? The next year we went back to a full sized car to transport the family and also got a Jeep for when hubby went hunting up in the mountains/forest dirt roads. Sold the Austin Marina to a new young lady driver. Very small car. The most unusual cars I ever rode in was back in the early 1960's when all the chemists where I worked had Citroen's.........not sure if that was a German car but they were all German chemists. They'd give us a lift to the bus stop or sometimes home........depending on which way they were going.......have never seen a Citroen today........nor an Austin Marina. |

Either the 1962 Corvette or the 1970 Camaro, since a picture is worth a thousand words, here goes.
