My first car a 1930 Model A. Had sawdust in the tranny and oatmeal in the radiator. Paid $100 for her. The one car I'd take back in a flash was my '63 split window 'tanker' that I sold in '69 for $3300 while in route to Nam. Today my baby is Black Beauty, a modified '03 Thunderbird...

Mine was a 1954 Chevrolet sedan. Paid $50.00 for it in 1963 and drove it trouble free for two years.

First car was a 1957 Olds 88 coupe with the J2 option. 4 speed Hydramatic. Still the most favorite car I ever owned

Opel cadet. This is the fanciest version I’ve ever seen. Certainly nicer than mine

Ordered the car in Apr. 1967. Graduated high school May 1967. Picked up the car in June 1967. Brand new ordered the way I wanted it. Gold colored 1967 GTO. All for less than $2800 out the door. A real muscle car. Great memories.

Agree, had 64 Starfire with HP 394 rocket I brought in 71 for 695. Off dealer back lot, garnet red with white leather interior, not scratch or rust spot on it. Prettiest car I owned.

Wow! Doesn’t thinking about your first car really bring back the memories? My above Chevelle SS really does.

I loved the 64 Starfire:a040: . I remember one saturday night in HS, about 2am I was able to outrun a Texas Highway Patrol car on the Katy Freeway. Luckily I had a head start.

Mine was a 51 chevy sedan. Bought it for $75 in 1960 because the engine was blown and I needed to rebuild it. I had it ready to go when I turned 16 in 61. I had several different cars over the next 5 years. In 1969 I bought a 64 GTO 389, triple carbs 4 speed. Fortunately I sold it before I killed myself with it. Now I drive a 7 passenger SUV so we can all go together when the grand kids arrive.

Yep, mine had like 308 to1 rear. Friend mine pulled up beside me in his hopped up 55 chevy on interstate late one night, making it hop like he want to race. At 70 MPH the starfire wasn’t even turning 2 grand. We floored it, he initial got out in front couple links, at 120 I flew pass him, the little mouse motor was wound out with 3.89 gears. I was just getting rolling.
