Both campaigns are spending a great amount of effort to "educate' the public on the associates of the rival candidate to demonstrate the other guy is no angel. It cuts both ways, and ignoring one while hyping the other is just tunnel vision.
I am glad to say the recent news regarding McCain champaign managers firm has been taking $15,000 a month as a consultant to Freddie Mac. But John McCain said he had severed all ties in 2005. Ooops......

I think a remember something about people in glass houses.

You seem to be always watchful of socialism....So what do think of the White House lead bailout of Wall Street.

This is bigger than FDR.....who the Repubs have always branded socialist.

He did sever all ties....HIS COMPANY was being paid not him. May make not difference to you but just to keep it straight !

And they all need to watch out for chards falling from all directions. Each is trying to make the other look like the proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing. All that has happened is that issues, capabilities, experience and probable performance is left in the dust. Both are guilty there.

So, in the end we are still left with two lawyers whose only work experience is as career senators at the state/fed level or college faculty member- versus - a retired naval officer who is also a career senator and a small business owner who has been a mayor and governor. So, do we go with the lawyers or the non-lawyers? Which combo gives the least angst?

So what did he do? Or didn't do? He took over the Banking Committee after the sub prime mortgage problem started. So I fail to understand why he should be put in jail. What crime(s) did he commit?

Pershaps we should look at Paulson....Goldman Sachs was selling these derivitives, know they were bad, and the short selling on them knowing they would fail. Sounds kind of shady to me.

The humor in all of this finger pointing is that the complexity of our political system of checks and balances is such that you can always spin a story to justify blame in a current crisis. Look at 9-11.

I only pointed out 3 gay sex scandals the Republicans have had. My post was no more vile than yours. I didn't even say what kind of sex scandal it was I only named names. It seems the only sex scandal Repubs can remember is Clinton. Rep Frank made a poor choice for a partner....he wasn't involved.

You brought up the sex part not me.
