The reasons for my dislike for Megyn Kelly were stated in a previous post.

I did however go back and re-read every post and predictably it mirrors comments one finds in various news outlets across this nation. However I sensed something in the background that contributed to these assorted comments.

My belief (have to call it a theory since there is not enough print space to substantiate it here) is that progressives disliked Sarah Palin because she represented the idea of feminism but contradicted progressives definition with her love of guns and hunting, a non-elitist, a mom and a pro lifer abiding by her conviction and bearing a child she knew would be handicapped, etc. This type of contradiction causes progressives heads to explode.

Enter Donald Trump who admittedly is rough around the edges but he is an Alpha male and Alpha males are hated by progressives and they have been in the process of trying to neuter them out of existence since the feminist movement began...can you say metro-sexual. worse yet for progressive Trump is white.

Progressives have taken the issue of sexual harassment, in fact many issues of their social justice agenda from the sublime to the ridiculous and indoctrinated people for so long is it any wonder and indeed sad that we need websites like Harmony.com or that we are so divided. Indeed sexual harassment and social injustice does exists and it is ugly but not all claims of sexual harassment are valid nor all social injustice a conspiracy against protected classes .

I now expect the howls of bigot, racist, sexist/ misogynist because that is the argument of some. I'll save my further response for rebuttal, if required.

Kelly is no different than any media type who had the gall to in anyway cross Trump. His followers, at his nod, turn in that media member and begin the attack. From chanting obscenities at Katy Tur during a rally Kelly.

Nothing complex for you to lecture us about. If Trump calls out you attack dogs, and he does when HE feels slighted, they will be maligned.

OK, just so we are dealing in facts rather than partisan opinions:

(1) Did you listen to the words on the Billy Bush/ Donald Trump conversation where he says he kisses and grabs them whether they want him to or not?
(2) Did you see the film clip of Trump when asked in an interview a few years ago if he respected women and his response was to smirk and say, "I can't say that either"?
(3) Did you see the film clip of Trump saying that it is a dangerous thing to allow a wife to go to work?
(4) Have you listened to Trump refer to women in various interviews as pigs, etc?
(5) Did you hear Trump criticize Kelly by referring to her menstrual cycle?
(6) Did you hear Trump's often rating of women based on a 1-10 scale on their looks, with a particular emphasis on breast size?
(7) Have you heard the claims of at least 11 women who claim that they were sexually assaulted by Trump at various times in his life, and his response to some of them was that they weren't attractive enough for him to be interested?

Yes, we'll give him a chance to be President, but you can not simply ignore, and rationalize away the facts above. The man is a misogynist, undeniably, and as a husband and father of two daughters, I am appalled. Kelly tried to hold him accountable for these things and you want to punish her? You sure have a strange sense of justice! I guess conservative, Christian, family values for judging character only apply to liberals, Democrats, and women.

Time to get over it. If you don't want to purchase Kelly's book, then don't. I don't watch her and really don't care for her style, but I am not going to waste my time "boycotting" her. That is something that liberals do, not me. I know plenty of folks that do not always agree with me. I do not boycott them because they don't agree with me. Suit yourself though. It's your right to abuse.

Actually Rachel Maddow's show has a built-in, self-boycotting feature. If you ever actually make the mistake of watching it, you make a mental note to never go there again it's sooo bad.

Kelly is a bimbo exhibitionist exploiting her gender and race and personalities in any manner that will keep the camera on her.

Her supposed "success" has gone to her head and she has degenerated to a photo opportunist with no value to add to much of anything.

MK is not much different than Ann Coulter except she has more "guts". With both, it's all about the money until they get to the point of having enough and that is likely never. Frankly, who cares if you go to her book signing or not.

My question is WHY the referendum on Kelly ?

Did she lie about Trump ?

Are we to expect that anytime you disagree with your leader, he/she needs defending ?

Why the referendum ?

And 61 million didn't give a rats ass about it,
including a high percentage of women.
