They actually equate the same disdain for Oriental as they and most people would have for the " N" word. You can as they say look it up . And Oh by the way in terms of your efforts to identify and stamp out racism on this site . Thank-you for your service ! |
negroids and orientals
You have now entered the Twilight Zone. |
It appears that once again the liberals have diverted from the subject of the thread when losing the discussion/debate. Interesting how the 2nd Amendment has turned into a bait and trap by the liberals using "racism" as their common tool of choice. Apparently, they are still having a problem trying to discern the difference between the first and second Amendment.
In order to gain leverage on the discussion by utilizing the "racism" ploy, first you have to have an audience that gives a rats @ss about your PC. Using factual terms that are technically correct, are not the same as racial slurs even if one perceives the descriptor as a personal affront. If these terms are not utilized with the intent to slur, then your huffing a puffing in false indignation is just plain stupid, to put it politely. It seems that it is never the subject of the perceived slur that is complaining, but a simple minded liberal that must take up the mantel of false injury and run with it. You are the same idiots that use such terms as "angry old white men" or " tea ba**ers" or whatever you believe will anger a poster that you do not agree with. Racism is a lame attempt to turn the conversation away from the subject. Why don't you liberals on the left call up the ghost of Senator Byrd, grand dragon of the KKK and Democrat, cherished by the left and see what he might have to say about "racism?" Your accusations of "racism" is getting boring and tedious. Try to use your imagination and come up with a factual argument to dispute someone's view rather than diverting from the subject. |

Oh no, Tumup agrees. I must be slipping.

As if any real thinking person would even care what a "PC expert" thinks.
All that means is they are better at not saying or doing what is right. One step below a politician and a politician is looking up at the curb!!!!! |
When PC becomes law, I might consider watching my language. Until they repeal the first Amendment, PC is what I do not intend to incorporate into my lifestyle.

They were all taught the woman's view. Told to be gentle. Passive. But that's NOT what boys/men are. We're aggressive, mean, uncaring...but we're GREAT at making things, new things, helpful things. We're essential and being bred out of existence. |

You've been in the coma, unaware of the insisious changes going on around you. Can you name a place that is truly better now than in the 50s or early 60s? Diversity has destroyed this country. It's destroying Europe. Someone wants everyone stupid. |
Hard to believe
I can't believe I'm in The Villages, Florida after reading this forum! People trying to talk themselves out of sounding racist when actually people are all one race, humans, homo sapiens. Such hatred and anger, from people supposedly here to relax and enjoy life. None of these people can be Christians and talk like this, yet seem to hold themselves out as religious folks. I'm ashamed that thoughts like these make it to print, in a forum from here. People talking hatred about gays, pansies and Blacks and Asians is disgusting and embarrassing for this community, where we should be above these kinds of thoughts, being mature adults.

We're angry about the future that has been deceptively forced upon us that will gravely affect our grandchildren. We WILL be the minority in our own country in one generation. From the age of 6 down we already are the minority. You have no idea how much things are going to change...no idea. If you did, you'd join me trying to stop it. Adults CAN talk about such matters. Got some FACT to share to back up your outrage? |

This is too long and has nothing to do with the second Amendment. Just another diversion incorporated by the left to get away from the subject. |

In Vietnam, they weren't orientals and they weren't Asians. They were called Charlie or G**Ks.

Mencken reports the earliest use of the word gook: he wrote that US marines occupying Nicaragua in 1912 took to calling the natives gooks and that it had previously been a term for Filipinos.[11] He further mentions that the natives of Costa Rica are sometimes called goo-goos.[12] The first written use was in 1920 and mentions that the marines occupying Haiti used the term to refer to Haitians.[13] US occupation troops in Korea after World War II called the Koreans "gooks".[14] After the return of US troops to the Korean peninsula, so prevalent was the use of the word gook during the first months of the Korean War that US General Douglas MacArthur banned its use, for fear that Asians would become alienated to the United Nations Command because of the insult.[1][15][16] Although mainly used to describe non-European foreigners, especially Asians, it has been used to describe foreigners in general,[17] including Italians in 1944, Indians, Lebanese and Turks in the '70s, and Arabs in 1988.[4] This dual usage is similar to the offensive word wog in British English.
In modern US usage, "gook" refers particularly to Communist soldiers during the Vietnam War. It is generally considered to be highly offensive. |

ˈblaT͟Hər/Submit verb 1. talk long-windedly without making very much sense. "she began blathering on about spirituality and life after death" synonyms: prattle, babble, chatter, twitter, prate, go on, run on, rattle on, yap, jabber, maunder, ramble, burble, drivel, blabber, gab; More noun 1. long-winded talk with no real substance. The blather is funny at times. I don't think it will stop altogether. As for Wikipedia being reliable I found this advice. "How will you know if a citation is credible? That’s where judgment comes in. There are too many factors to list here, but a citation is more likely to be legitimate if it comes from an academic source, has statistics to back up its claim, or is a quote directly from a source. Many times you won’t be able to get access to the first-hand material because it’s not widely available online (as in the case of many academic journals) or it’s from a book. In this case, your best bet is getting hold of that work or searching for it online." Is Wikipedia Reliable? Here Are Some Tips on How to Find Out |
