Not even close. You failed to make an excuse for the Sheriff they arrested. How about the ignorant cops who recently arrested a woman with a medical emergency (RX interaction) as opposed to getting her to a hospital? Have an excuse for them? I know, the cops who like to harass golf carts for not coming to a total stop near Sumpters Landing? How about the fact that MOST cops can not pass a narcotics drug test due to "pain killers" they take for "on the job" injuries?

Where I worked we invited the police to NOT go there. They would blatantly steal food from staff areas and walk around like they owned the place...all of them, idiots. Low self esteem, power mongering idiots.

Make sure that you tell them how you feel next time you need one. You are a prize piece of work, to put it politely. Maybe once a stop sign violator almost takes you out, you will see the value of "COPs" writing tickets for running stop signs. I have a real surprise for the one that does that to me next time. And if you use you golf cart in The Villages very often, you will see offenders run stop signs on a daily basis. I am surprised there are not more accidents.

Thank goodness for those guys in "blue" that protect folks like you from folks that would otherwise have to enforce the law themselves. And you would not wish that to happen.

If you are here your position in life should have been on solid ground prior to the last 8 years. I am sure you were not "broke" 8 years ago and because of Obama you struck it rich since 2008. Most working citizens have not been that fortunate in the last 8 years. Just remember that "your" President stated about your life, great job, great house, 2 cars, and golf cart: "If you've got a business-you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen". So who made it happen for you?

2015 was no peach for investments.

In the past when I needed one (burglary), they were worthless, did nothing and I am the one who found some of my property at a pawn shop. Again, unless there are HUGE changes in law enforcement on a whole, they need not wonder why not many of us respect them.

Your analogy as to running stop signs in the villages - puleeze...(then again, I NEVER carry a driver license on my cart and rarely carry the Resident ID)...crime is RAMPANT and they are busy messing with people for tickets so they can fund their budgets.

Oh, and when the cops pilfer our lounge areas, steal our food and take anything down to a bath towel as their own...well, who do we call? The Sheriff who is in jail?

Could you be a little more specific about where they are stealing food from and other items ? What lounge ?

From the staff area where I work(ed) before moving to TV. More than once we invited the police to wait in...oddly...the WAITING AREA. But, they collectively think they are special. (But for State Police and US Marshals who were in every instance professional and respectful)..

Some of what I have seen them do to people, first hand is inexcusable. Then they "testi-lie" about it in court...I suppose everyone needs a laceration that oddly matches the profile of a flash light. Even more odd, the injuries are typically "falling down running"...yeah, sure.

What is super neat is when a cop, while "on the clock" OD's on heroin in the bathroom by radiology...none of us were shocked. Dont for a second think that body cameras will help even a little bit. Cameras in the cars did not help much either when you were on the wrong side of the badge of arrogance.

You paint with a pretty broad brush when it comes to police officers. Do you do that with blacks, gays, women and liberals as well?

Seems that the real problem is too many bad people in certain areas such as Chicago!

So lets spread them out?

The home front: So many people die annually from gunfire in the US that the death toll between 1968 and 2011 eclipses all wars ever fought by the country. According to research by Politifact, there were about 1.4 million firearm deaths in that period, compared with 1.2 million US deaths in every conflict from the War of Independence to Iraq.

1.3 million of them were minorities shooting minorities...so why do we care?

Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason...it's basically true.

Just plain B.S.! You are a miserable person. Like I said before, your type wants police protection, but you want it with their hands tied behind their backs, and body cameras to look over their shoulders.
You hate the police the military and just about everyone out there. Apparently, your life has been miserable in totality. Your broken and I doubt you can be fixed.

Chicago has always been a blight on America. Even their pizza sucks. The weather sucks. And who cares how many of them kill each other? No one will miss them and they are no longer leaches on society. It's probably the safest city from terrorist attack in the U.S. Other than the White House with it's current Muslim resident.

Everywhere "they" live becomes a blight...let's be honest about WHY an area becomes blighted.

LOL - delusional trust of those you cant. It is okay, you are not alone. Never said anything about the military, but, like most ignorant people you read things that are not there.

Actually despite Bush's 8 years i've been good. i'm self employed and doing great, not millionaire great but politics/gov't doesn't influence my life greatly which is true for most Americans. Most working people's bottom lines aren't affected by the president, but their laziness does. Gov't in general doesn't change much of anything because the republicans block anything from happening including useful legislation that most Americans agree on. Good job republicans, way to move our country forward. You even got rid of your speaker because he was try to get both parties on same page to pass legislation. At least Obama is trying to accomplish things even if you don't agree with him

Hilarious! Hope you are not really that naive (polite for stupid).

Unless if course you are in business for yourself and have MD or DO after your name (PCP). Then, what you do is NOT get paid for treating patients. Thusly, NOT see them as patients. You have them go to the ED where they are a burden to the rest of society while you fight ever lowering reimbursement rates from Insurance providers and laughable "loss leaders" on Medicare patients. Then, people can complain that they can not find a doctor who "takes their plan" while they bitch about co-pays.

Obama has DESTROYED healthcare in this country, even more so for the under-employed and those who would prefer to opt out of coverage (most people between 18-35). But, in some delusion those who are 18-35 will somehow pay for the care of those who are older and needing care...heck of a system, sure worked with Social Security.....
