Please explain why my recitation of FDR, Johnson, Carter, Clinton and Obama's policies, now a part of history, are snide remarks? Its not like I claimed Obama lied and people died. The Democratic Party continues to move far left and both Sanders and Clinton wear the socialist label proudly.

Perhaps the discomfort you are feeling is recognition of the wrong path your party is taking? Perhaps your quarrel is not with me but your Party?
I was once a Democrat but in the 1960's the Party left me and so I registered Republican.

Today, I find the Republican Party wanting which explains Trumps' popularity which I also find perplexing?

My posts simply speak to my displeasure with socialism and my belief in our capitalistic market free economy.

This is off topic, but I have to say it, other posters can learn a lot from you, including me. Your posts are not only articulate and thoughtful, but by this post you have shown others how to respond respectfully and with good humor to negative posters and their attacks. The word bully and sissy bother me.
They feel like children's words to me. It doesn't bother me if a man sounds more like his mother than his father but I wouldn't call him a sissy. Maybe in the third grade I did but not now.

Bully---who is a bully? Is a Mafia boss a bully? Was Patton a good bully? How about Tyson? That word seems appropriate for an overgrown 8 year old pushing down 6 year olds in a playground. That's the image I imagine when I hear the word, not Tyson or Capone. But I can't find a better word than intimidator. There must be a better word in the English language to depict these types of adults. Can you think of one?
