'We don't war on countries just to protect ourselves.
'

So bush43 attached Iraq to protect us, or was it to protect his and big oil interests? And no, he knew they didn't have wmd's.

OK, Genius. How much OIL did we get?
And almost half a million dead bodies in mass graves in Iraq, killed by gas says you don't have a clue and listen to too much talking points. Use your head for a change. Besides, Sadaam violated the No Fly zone. That's enough to attack, so get over it.

We war on other nations because corporations want resources and customers. I served too, and I'm embarrassed about some of the things we did. You must have been a grunt and not involved with the plans and operations. Don't believe the propaganda. Whom is the bully? We have bases all over the world, to keep others in line. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

And how many wars have you fought in America? If you don't like America, there are plenty of great countries that will take you in. Not as great as America, but livable.

I agree, we have to deal with our poor in this country before we send more money and aid to other countries. Send help yes! But not money so their corrupt governments can spend it on them selves. I also agree we should be charging an import fee on all goods coming into the USA to create an even playing field. Those countries that pay their help pennies to our dollars and then charge import duty on our goods as well or will not at all allow our goods into their country is just not right. The same goes for religion....if a Christian church is not allowed in that country then they should not be allowed to build OR impose their laws here. All these one sided deals are not agreeable and should not be allowed. I know that is not Christian but....beheading Christians is not also. The UNITED STATES has become so liberal that the rest of the world has taken advantage of us and laughed at us all the way to the bank.

1] I also agree we should be charging an import fee on all goods coming into the USA to create an even playing field.

2] Those countries that pay their help pennies to our dollars and then charge import duty on our goods as well

1] This will mean higher prices for Americans and less purchase power. I agree with you.

2] You also want other countries to raise their workers salaries so we can become more competitive too. This will also mean higher prices for Americans and less purchase power. I agree with you on that point too.

Is this common sense, a conservative point of view or a liberal point of view?

You need to brush up on the Iraq war history, and if your going to post about Saddam learn how to spell his name, it show your ignorants.

Really?

For one to be critical of others you might want to brush up on your grammar before throwing stones. Just sayin' ya know?

Secondly it does show some being more interested in picking fly poop out of the pepper tha the subject at hand.

Power is the reason no one has dared bomb us. But, don't forget 9/11. I hate war also, but I served in the military more than once BECAUSE I didn't want my family to have to experience war at home. You can argue all you wish, but if you are weak, bullies will take advantage of you. We don't war on countries just to protect ourselves. We also war on others to protect or support our allies. If you have a problem with that, then you are not as liberal and caring as you boast.

I'm all for being strong militarily, but when I hear candidates saying they would carpet bomb Indiscriminately ect. I draw the line. They would never send their children to war, just see how many of the warmongers kept there children out of the wars. One was bush41.

Really? You would rather the president call for a red line and then not back it up? Or, how about Hillary that says she would have a No Fly Zone but said she would never put boots on the ground. We've had our fill of paper tigers, that have caused our allies to shun us, lose respect for us. As for Bush 41 keeping W out of war, I believe that 41 served us well in WWII. W did volunteer for WestPac orders, but did not receive them. Was that 41's doing? I don't see the relevance of your comment to America now and the election. Neither Bush is running for office.

Being ready to defend America and it's allies is not being a "warmonger." It's protecting family, if nothing else. The only thing that has protected us in recent years from a heavy assualt, has been the oceans surrounding us. And that has not been a guarantee. Obama has been a weak president like we have not seen since Carter.

"A Duke University study demonstrates that it matters whether civilian decision makers have military experience: A review of U.S. foreign policy over nearly two centuries shows that when we have the fewest number of veterans in leadership and staff positions in Congress and the executive branch, we are most likely to engage in aggressive (as opposed to defensive) war fighting. And we are most likely to pull out of conflicts early."

McCain's son Jim volunteered. What candidates have children military age?

I just wrote the RNC explaining to them that for the first time in my adult life I am waiving my right to cast a vote in either the primary race and the general election.
Personal Best Regards:

What did the RNC say?
Just refer me to a post if they responded.

You need a more credible source of news other than Fox. President Obama is very highly regarded throughout the world. This is what they say in Britain, for example: "In Europe, we see President Obama as an educated, thoughtful, and sincere man, whereas Donald Trump has all the finesse and demeanor of a demented circus clown." .. Colin Eccles, England. The Pew Research Center studies show that in general, across the board, particularly among U.S. allies in Europe and Asia-Pacific, Obama enjoys considerable public support, as opposed to his predecessor George Bush who was reviled abroad.

Thank you for your post. I find it so credulous that people think that opinions are hard fact news. Trump is a total disaster for America. No substance..nothing that makes sense. The media says that Americans are voting for him because they are angry but I have yet to hear what they so darn angry about! Other than the rich getting richer and the middle class getting poorer. Good grief! Trump is not going to fix that!

Republicans are to blame for the middle class getting poorer! Our minimum wage is too high says many! Wake up America before it is too late!!

Your post shows your ignorance. To blame the dropping level of the middle class on the Republicans is ludicrous. If that word is too difficult for you, use your Google.
