My point is this that violence and hate speech is on the rise since Obama got elected. Liberal churches have been shot up, a doctor killed, the President threatened and a security guard at the Holocaust killed. Why was there no post on TOTV about the attack on the Holocaust museum?

If you are outraged about the Palin remarks why not outrage about the attack on the museum?

Nobody is stopping you. You can start a post on a crazy man attacking a museum anytime you want. Just like I can start a post on a crazy man who shot President Regan getting new privileges which was on the news yesterday. I may have thought some interesting things about your posts but I gotta say I really haven't noted what I perceive to be hate in any of them.

I will take back my HATE comment as that is a strong word.

I will restate that there is a strong affliation with one party and a total distaste for another ! Not sure how folks like this feel about THE COUNTRY but we know about the parties.

I opposed President Obama based on one thing...his idealogy and did it for the same reasons before he got the nomination. I did not support McCain and surely have critiqued our last president. I say all of this because party politics is a large part of the problem in this country !

David Bittermen tapes his show hours before they run it at 11:30 at nite. Me thinks he tapes at 5 PM. He has a gang of writers who's only purpose in life is to script Bittermen's show. These "jokes" are then read by the staff at CBS. Final approval goes way up the ladder before the final draft that is then fed into the teleprompter. Literally dozens of people know what Lettermen is going to say, before his dwindling audience.
