I will repeat. We should not have to keep getting personal insults from long time harassers. It is criminal and should not be tolerated.

If you know you are on someone's IGNORE LIST you should not keep antagonizing that other person. It is childish and seems against the wishes of the MODERATOR.

I am not even looking at Affald's posts but he continues to post what I assume are personal slurs on me.

I am also no longer a Member of the Political Forum because of affald, allegiance and dirtbanker and their six months or so of ILLEGAL online harassment.

This should not be tolerated on any FORUM.

These trolls do not represent the by-in-large good people of the Villages and Talk of the Villages. There does seem to be a lot of nasty people on the Political Forum but for some reason that cruelty is being allowed.

It just means I do not get notification of what posts have been made recently on the Talk of the Villages Political Forum. Which is good actually as I have received notice of many harassing posts -- from the Titles of these-- from the gang of trolls on this Political Forum.

There are other people who are not Members of this Group who post from time-to-time.

My friend warned me that the Political Forum was not a good place for me because of my sensitivity and the like and she was right. She might come onto the TOTV Political Forum as well but you would not know it. She is probably one of the many who never post; just read once in a while.

Your friend gave you excellent advise, why didn't you follow it?

How do you "ignore" someone on this political forum? Just curious, since it seems that one poster seems content on using this forum for his personal diary. Of is this some inside joke? If I use the "ignore" function, will it filter the subjects also. The ones created by this one person? It would make it easier to filter through the different subjects when you are in a hurry.

Why would anyone diminish the purpose of totv and simultaneously make the villages look bad by abusing the forum, using it as a personal diary?

To answer your question, go to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on the left side of your screen under site navigation. Then click on General Forum Use and under that heading click on Dealing with Troublesome Users. Your answer will be there. It will not filter subjects to my knowledge, but will allow you to block different posters. You can still see that they posted but the message will not come up.

Thank you. I saw that area but thought it might not work on a forum that has everyone as "guest." I do not wish to complain about this guy. I am sure he is just lonely or something. But, he does seem to be a bit self absorbed and paranoid. He claims that everyone on here is against him, but I have seen some that seem to be very civil toward him.

That person, using the term loosely, likes to call Trump supporters "*******," defends those who wish Trump assassinated, and often says "Trump sucks Putin's dick."

He is just a swell guy.

It does work, but you have to find out the user's name first by hitting quote post. After doing that, if you scroll down it willl show the last 10 or so posts with user names noted instead of guest.

It's always good to peak in on the posters you are ignoring, hourly if possible, to document things.

Actually I get along with most posters on here except Allegiance, dirtbanker, affald, don baldwin and a few others who have seemed to have given up decency, common sense, rationality, and kindness when they are on this Political Forum. This is a very long going feud between me and these creeps. They should not even be allowed to post anywhere on Talk of the Villages for long term CRIMINAL HARRASSMENT. And many of the users not in this clique I will bet would agree we me that these trolls should not be on here any longer.

These harassers are quite hypocritical. They are on my IGNORE LIST so unless someone quotes them, I have no idea what they are saying. But they keep insulting me anyway.

What they do not get is that the 224 613 Project is a work in progress and has been since 1991. It changes as the needs of survivors/victims of crimes information needs change.

I had hoped the Hillary Clinton would have become President so Donald John Trump's winning did cause me problems especially because it seems to have emboldened the bullies among us who also commit crimes on here quite regularly by continuing to harass, annoy, pester me with more and more posts creating quite a record of these crimes.
