I've given up on actually having an intelligent political conversation, because the Trump Cultists or the fake/hypocritical Christian preacher (ie: RUBITHEcon)...prefer to troll instead of discuss.

If you haven't been told yet, you can see who the last 10 posters were by hitting the 'quote' button in any post and then scrolling way down...to see the user name of the person making the post.

You will quickly find out that the usual suspects, post about the usual things (eg: overt racism/misogyny by Don Baldwin/Larbug/Dirtbanker/Etc., blind Trump loyalty by Rubithecon/Allegiance/Etc. and just outright weirdness by people like Bog99) and that you can get pretty good at guessing who posted what...without even using the quote button.

And while The Villages in general is obviously hard right, I think the right-wing extremists in the political forum are on the very extremist fringe...and are not a true representation of the average Repub resident here.

I am neither a progressive or a conservative. Rather I am a pragmatist and a realist and prefer to come to my own conclusion rather than a collectives. Social Security costs about a trillion dollars a year. Actions speak louder than words. In his first major action did he put money into supporting SS. He took a trillion dollars from future tax income and gave it to the top 1%. If SS was a large part of my income I would begin to worry he cares about seniors about as much as he cares about the women he groped.

Trumps first major action was a ban on imigration from countries that terrorists travel from...why worry about collecting SS if your blown up in a coffee shop?

SS is not a large part of anyone's income...It is a terrible investment with regard to ROI. You, being a silly woman, can wait "till I can't wait any longer" to apply for SS if you want - but you never know when your going to die!

News flash: all heterosexual guys care more about pu$$y than anything else in life. If there was no women, we would have been happy living in a cave with just a fire and bison meat. There would be no drama, no need for flashy cars or dress, and no whining...
