Just say no..that's the mantra..What exactly do the Republicans propose? I know the plan of our reps, Rubio and Nugent, more subsidies to greedy corporations such as Exon...ALL INCUMBENTS OUT

Subsidies from Republicans OR Bailouts/Stimulus from Democrats...6 of one OR half dozen of the other?

I certainly do hope those with their "racist intent" magnifying glass have the presence of mind and opinion to sort out what the term racist really means AND a commentary about a person who is criticized for not doing the job....who happens to be black!!!

Look up racism in the dictionary first, then the word racist (because if you look racist first it refers to racism).

BTK..If you are talking of me, it is based on FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE..I got the e-mails from several local tea party activists..A fellow poster stated that at the town square an official representative of the tea party, manning a table for the organization, was making statements that absolutely were racist..Yea I know the difference and pretending it doesn't exist doesn't make it untrue...

So a few e-mails and one questionable statement from a bias individual at town square is what you have? Tea Party people are your uncle, your neighbor, your barber, your butcher etc. Your party hate line will not influence the most respectable Party the USA has had in decades.

Congressman Walsh in dc...poster child for the tea party ...I guess we just have different values..I'm not buyin it...

What would it be about a guy who somehow gets all the people who are racists to open up about their feelings and freely admit their rabid racism to this one individual?

I've gone through life and conversed with thousands of people, i guess, and the subject doesn't seem to come up. It's a puzzlement.

Well, I guess I won't dwell on it, as it seems an absurd thing, and it's best to just ignore the whole issue.

I had to read that 3 times for it to sink in. Yes, what kind of guy would it be for someone to blurt out their inner feelings like some sort of exorcism. Seems this individual would have a talent that Geraldo Rivera would be envious of. Unless this talented individual was a figment of some liberal's imagination?

you people lose the point entirely...I can't cure the racism, that's on them that believe in it..What concerns me is that is to some, driving their decisions...solely.....It comes in subtle ways and is not sought out..If you are a "regular kind of guy from a similar ,working with our hands, background" then it is easily brought out...Especially from the south and midwest it seems, that is where I encountered it..In Pa at the original meetings I attended,it was not at the forefront and I can truthfully say I never witnessed it as a "decider". There they actually were on the right track but because of the two party system, and the newness of the tp, their candidate was of low quality and finished dead last. I see them currently,as extremists with a "my way or the hiway attitude" as recently demonstrated in congress, and tacidly condoning racial bigotry.

If I am reading this correctly, you are saying that the Tea Party condones racial bigotry? That absurd to say the least. Show us the proof.

I said TACIDLY......by omission..They should speak out publicly against the e-mails and representative's comments that are so rampant...I have deleted several and they DID NOT ORIGINATE from my neighbors..Their was a LARGE DISTRIBUTION LIST..The tea party ought to get off the kick of one term....AT ANY COST...It's like saying the sky is blue..We all know it exists but how do you PROVE it...I've seen it, one other poster was subjected to it publicly,by THEIR REPRESENTATIVE, and yet you refuse to admit it exists at all...That is tacid approval!

I really have a hard time following you. Racism is not on the Tea Party agenda. Period.

Your not listening to me. Stop watching MSNBC and you might awaken.

Guest 09-18-2011 01:59 PM

I'm think I'm beginning to get a handle on this. The progenitor of this observance of racism in all things around him is one of those who, if you disagree with what he believes to be true; the deviance from those opinions must be of a malicious nature. This phantom "maliciousness" is interpreted by him into racism when the subject is the President.

Hence, anyone who disagrees with him where it concerns the President must be, by his definition, a racist.

I watch fox the same amt..and they are just "talking heads" to me...Of course racism is not on the Tea party's agenda...That would be stupid..The membership however, I've seen many, and I fear this is what is driving a lot of these people in their decision making...Never saw MSNBC or any other news org make any racism charges, Just seen it from some of the membership I know...And it is solely driving the ones I know as they have absolutely no interest in politics in general, just get him out...The only place I heard it was from a member of the black caucus on the floor, and it wasn't given any real merit..Grass roots drives everything..Without the support of the people, they cannot accomplish their goals..The grass roots I have met have questionable agendas....And the tea party refuses to admit it exists and denounce it...I think it will rear it's ugly head in the next election and I fear this will be the dirtiest election we will see in our lifetime...Lines are drawn in the sand and their is refusal to work together..

If racism is so firmly and quietly rooted into the foundation of the Tea Party, could you please explain to us these fine strong supporters of the Tea Party movement?

HELLO!?!?!...Tea Party Racism?? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1CLPhz0DHM[/ame]

Guest 09-18-2011 09:03 PM

As a party, the Tea Party does not advocate racism.

I am sure that the majority of African-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Cuban-Americans, and any other group besides some caucasians will not vote for Tea Party supported candidates. All of the groups that are "minority" are going to vote Democrat - along a great majority of non-minority voters.

Guest 09-18-2011 09:11 PM

You could be right or, you could be wrong. I think minorities are waking up to the fact that the liberal form of government is only a form of slavery/non-freedom/dependency on the government/loss of dignity for their people. Only time will tell...

Guest 09-18-2011 09:40 PM

Must be the latest talking points issued are to drum away that the tea party followers/supporters are racist. They are racist like Obama was to bring hope and change....no more business as usual...yadda....yadda...yadda;;More business as usual:
