Yes? Tell me the last time BO said anything good about America or Americans... especially when visiting other countries?

...What dklassen said! :agree:
And that doesn't even address those (Czars) Obama has unilaterally appointed to positions of power. All with with no Congressional oversight, and most with dubious (at best) backgrounds. :cus:

If this happened to a Republican President - a democrat was to yell out something, he/should would be chastised and booted out!!!! Then, he/she would probably be removed from his/her office for doing so. People need to have respect for the President. There is a correct way of addressing him.

I personally LOVE him, I voted for him and could listen to him speak all day. I suppose that you think that Bush was a good man? <double sigh> He is the one who got us into this war (there WERE no weapons of mass destruction) and got us into this mess. Nobody knew what was going on financially until the last minute. He (Bush) said that we had a sound economy. Now, you want to complain about a man who happened to get voted in afterward and has to clean up the mess that Bush made??? Egads, I wouldn't want Obama's job for nothing!

What does that mean?
It means I believe he got caught up in the emotion of what he believed....right or wrong. And yes, according to practice such behavior is a no-no when all the kings men/women are in a smiling session.

Passing grade? Yes, I will take the emotional error of a Wilson any day over the overt theft and cheating by the likes of Rangle!!!!

His emotion may have been triggered by the same as mine relative to saying the WORDS....no illegal immigrants will be covered in the health care reform. And as usual, when one investigates the details of this specific, illegal immigrants getting health care coverage....it was debated last week. Yes the language there shall not be, HOWEVER, it was also pointed out there was NO language that would preclude a rejection if in fact an illegal immigrant did apply. And because there was no specific language to that point, there is a high likely hood they COULD not only be approved, but also be entitled to supplemental funding from Uncle Sam if they could not afford the price of the basic coverage.

Crafted and drafted by lawyers to ASSURE they have their butts covered to provide for their voting constituency. THAT is what rattles the ire of people like me and obviously Wilson....lawyer double speek = same as lying!!!

The man can be a supporters President...that is what it is all about. However, there is a point of reality, regardless who the candidate, who the POTUS, who the party....none matters when there is a potential for what is being said to not be capable of happening. For Obama to say the health care reform will not cost one dime...is double speak. For his statement to be true the Medicare abuse has to be identified and brought under control. It has been proven time and again that such promises in Washington NEVER materialize. Medicare is already forecast to be bannkrupt is not too many years...why aren't or why haven't these so obvious savings been claimed before? If they are known enough to the extent of knowledge that Obama is willing to commit based on their existence, why has it not been done before now? Why isn't it proposed to be done or begun starting tomorrow? Why do we have to wait for this POLITICAL game to be played before stopping the quoted KNOWN ills? Because it is political BS....nothing more.

I have no problem supporting ones man/woman. Doing their bidding blindly because they are one's man/woman just is not justifiable.

Yes he hit all the points....the same ones he has since the beginning.

Forget the partisan debate. How about democracy in action? For instance the will of the people has been quoted as the reason why Obama won the election....majority vote (means anything above one more than the other guy!)....a couple of percent....he wins the will of the people has been fulfilled.

But now on health care reform the will of the people does not mean squat. There is a higher percent against health care reform by a significantly larger margin than what Obama won the election....yet the will of the people has no impact on the Obama, Pelosi, et al. Now please help me understand how it is good for what they want and fagedaboutit for anything against what they want. Is that democracy? No .....partisan politics at it's worst.

Obama has yet to address the needs of the people....only his agenda....he said that last night. Pelosi says it every time a mic is put in front of her.

"Not one dime"....barf

You have a VERY short memory !

Do you not recall the Democrats BOOING LOUDLY the President of the United States during a joint session ? Or was that ok with you ?

I surely dont condone Rep Wilson, but you better do some reading on what has happened before throwing stones like this !

And do I need to remind you of the PERSONAL comments made by Pelosi and Reid on the President of the United States ????

Now, again...I certainly do not condone what Rep Wilson did but at least he apologized......NOBODY in the Democratic party did when involved !!!!

I honestly cant figure out what Bush has to do with a conversation on this new health bill !

And to agree with you I enjoy listening to our President as well...he is a beautiful speaker but HE DOES NOT DO WHAT HE SAYS !

PS....PLEASE reply and let us know if it was ok for the Democrats to BOO the President during a joint session...I can only assume by your post that it is ok depending on whether you agree with them !

Funny, it was ok to accuse Bush of lying, huh. As for the WMD, I guess you failed to catch the little article hidden in the depths of the newspaper and mentioned kinda like the quick disclaimers on TV ads by the media that Saddam, by his own admission, led the entire world to believe that he had those weapons in order to keep Iran at bay. Personally, I still think he did, but we will never know for sure, will we. Even the non-Republican Congress bought into it and voted to go to war based on the intelligence available at the time. We keep hearing that things are the worst they have been in 26+ years. News flash for you. Bush was not there then but it must be his fault anyway. As for "cleaning up the mess", so far the only thing I've seen is his making it worse by selling us all out. We need something besides pretty talk. Is Bush responsible for the actions of Bernie Madoff, Barney Frank, etc.? Neither is the current one.

I believe it was the terrorists that started the war if my memory serves correctly. Something about 9/11 and 3000 + Americans being murdered. Minor details right?

Also going back to Bush getting us in this mess. The economy was good most of his 8 years, the numbers prove it. Remember Fanny and Freddie? Go back and watch the congressional hearings and see who started what and who said what. It's all there right from the horses mouth... or should I say the Democrats mouth who by the way controlled congress and the purse strings the last two years of the Bush administration. And for the record the Democrats also said there was absolutely nothing wrong with Freddie and Fanny... right before they crashed... under Democrat congressional oversight. Bush wanted an investigation and regulation. The Dems said no.

How soon we forget.

new ball game

in 2003, Wilson voted to provide federal funds for illegal immigrants’ healthcare. The vote came on the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement and Modernization Act of 2003, which contained Sec. 1011 authorizing $250,000 annually between 2003 and 2008 for government reimbursements to hospitals who provide treatment for uninsured illegal immigrants. maybe we need designated hitter.

It doesn't matter who is president....maybe, finally the

American people, keeping it positive, let's say are inspired by Obama and his administration to rise up...finally...and be counted. That they are sick and tired of the give aways, the take aways, the bail outs, the hand outs to those who have things they couldn't afford in the first place, the ongoing freebies to the non contributors, the entitlement society.

The government can only :cus: on we the people for so long.....and now that they are rising up to be heard they are labled as not for Obama....give me a break. I know just as many dems as I do republicans and blacks as I do whites and they have all had it. They voted for change.....not to be had.

So if the rising up of the masses is interpreted as being against Obama....so be it....even though it is an incorrect, partisan view...and yes we respect y'all being entitled. Just don't try to categorize we the people who are fed up with the current trend as only anti Obama.....he ain't that big in some eyes!!!!!!!!
