I respectfully suggest you study up on the notion of peach through strength. Historically, weakness invites war whereas strength tends to prevents it.

I know it sounds counterintuitive but it's just the way the world has worked since antiquity. Reagan understood it, and that's why we won the Cold War ... in spite of all the fear mongers, nuclear freezniks and other lefties who protested his policies. I think Rubio understands this notion, and that's how I took his comment.

My question was how are you going pay for all this intervention. We have not paid for the first tomahawk missle we lobbed into Iraq yet. We are passing the cost to the generation that we sent over and their children.
