Perhaps its my nature or perhaps my training or perhaps both but I refuse to allow the liberal reporting media the satisfaction of taking my eye off task.
The issue isn't Limbaugh, a woman's right or Sandra Fluke. The issue is the BHO Administration again ignoring the US Constitution Taking your eye off task is like holding the wiggling tail of a gecko while the little fellow walks away proud and prim that he has outsmarted you again

Tell the government to mind their own business....we don't need their stinking contraceptive because we can buy ar own for $9 at Walmart. Geeez

I wish the states would mind their own stinking business and stop passing these state-madated vaginal-probe laws like Gov Bob McDonald R-VA signed into law today. Talk about government intrusion, this is the epitome of it.

Rush Limbaugh show today on his flagship station WABC: 86 ads total, 77 of those were unpaid public service announcements, 5:33 minutes of dead air.

Asking the question that others have asked of you with NO answer...what is your point ? You keep beating a drum that even Maher is sick of. I know you are simply posting tweets you get, but are they not tired yet ?

And repeating the other question where you questioned the right of states....have you read the constitution on states rights and do you believe in them ?

Guest 03-08-2012 06:59 PM

The title of this thread is "Rush Limbaugh" not "state's rights". Just keeping others apprised of Rush's current status with advertisers. If you want to talk state's rights, start another thread.

Reading??.......you expect reading??........It's obvious by the middle quote above that there is no reading. Because the Right To Privacy does not exist in our Constitution. That was a Supreme Court decision made of whole cloth.

You also obviously are not famaliar with the constitution and states rights...read a bit and then get back.

"The Tenth Amendment (Amendment X) to the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791.[1] The Tenth Amendment states the Constitution's principle of federalism by providing that powers not granted to the federal government nor prohibited to the States by the Constitution are reserved to the States or the people."

Are we not forgetting that this is just the LATEST of Rush's "faux pas"?

I mean - I used to be a fan of his but he just went.. Well, to be honest, I don't know HOW to describe it...

Are we so quick to forget his RIDICULOUS comments about the LRA? You remember that one.. Where he said Obama was funding a battle in Uganda and South Sudan against Christians by Muslims in supporting people fighting against the Lord's Resistance Army.

...except that the LRA is a terrorist organization that uses rape for intimidation and kidnaps children to turn them into soldiers.

This is NOT Limbaugh's first time around the block.

Rush Limbaugh explains to those ignorant of how sponsors advertise on the 600 stations that broadcast his program. Most sponsors are local and he derives no revenue from them. He has direct sponsors and one of those, he says, is practically begging to return. Stock prices for that company have plummeted since leaving Rush's audience. He also said he had 3 new direct sponsors coming on in the next 2 weeks.

The national media is aiding Media Matters in it's assault against Limbaugh by printing lies and by giving people the wrong impression on how radio advertising works.

I know this "kill Limbaugh's show by targeting sponsors tactic" will fail, and I would be willing to wager that this time next year Limbaugh has as large and audience and maybe even larger as the new listeners spurred to listen because of this controversy and exposed to his genius become full fledged new fans.

Here's Rush's words on the subject.

Have I ever mentioned that I think Limbaugh is a low life disgusting pig with no respect for human life and is proof that some pregnancies should not go full term. Sorry if this is a duplicate post. Now before some one slams me for NO RESPECT FOR HUMAN LIFE and SHOULD NOT GO FULL TERM in the same sentence, keep in mind that anyone that says the things he does publicly, proves that he is a few ingredients short of a Human Being.

Bill is also a pig, but does it as a comedian like Andrew Dice Clay and others. That does not make it OK, just a little less EVIL than when Rush Scumbaugh does it as a conservative republican figure.

Not in the Constitution, cite the Article if you think it is. The "Right to Privacy" was invented by SCUSA in 1973 by breathing in the vapors comming off the Constitution. That way they decided Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton to allow people to cut up little unborn babies, spray them with acid or suck out their brains.

The Pro-Aborts are against ultrasound tests of women planning to kill their unborn baby because on average 94% of those who see their unborn baby on the ultrasound picture change their mind.

villager II: Respectfully and honestly I am trying to understand how by expressing hate via of telling jokes is any less evil and any less hateful than straight hateful speech? The delivery may be different but the intent is the same. IMHO the joke teller is worse because he/she adds an element of apathy. As defined, the opposite of love is not hate but rather indifference...and indifference suggests that the target of hate is non-human.
I would rather have someone hate me than be indifferent to me ....say as the Nazi were toward the Jews.

He has his First Ammendment rights just as anyone else does. And advertisers have theirs just as the radio syndicators have theirs.

You are absolutely right...EXCEPT, 99.9% of all abortion facilities ALREADY perform an ultrasound prior to the abortion-to determine the exact stage of the pregnancy. The difference would be that they will b e required o show the images to the mother. and YES, OVER 94% of those who see the unborn baby change their mind. BECAUSE they see that the FETUS is not just a blob of tissue!!!

It was not meant to be offensive. You are in fact very good at creating sarcasm through your use of words. I find it a bit beneath anyone to use that ability to harm rather than do good deeds with it, but each to his own. You should have noticed that I have toned it down a lot due to posts by Rubicon and Bucco. They have shown me the right way to go rather than being sarcastic. They, like me talk straight and not silly sarcasm. Sorry that you thought I was not being kind when calling you a Word Smith. It was meant with the utmost respect for your offbeat, but skilled talent.
