I can't seem to come up with a link that mentions the number of people employed as domestic help in the Romney household.

Coralway, how about a link to your claim of Ann Romney having 27 employed domestics.
That seems to be the number you put forth.

How about it?

Well, for starters, here's one that talks about the domestics hired for ONE of their homes:

Mitt Romney's Maids' Salary Raises Questions

And of course that will make Romney a very bad President....what he needs is more radical advisors and a mentor that preaches black liberation, THEN we will have more confidence in Romney Those kind of things will never be questioned but success and your income are issues.

BUT there is no preaching of class warfare,.,....right..that is what this WH drums and drum.

Who really cares about how many nannies that the Romney had or how many maids? They are rich people with large houses. I would expect them to have nannies and maids. Romney would be a fine president, I am sure, and the number of maids and nannies has nothing to do with that. Just good business sense, experience in government, and common sense, too.

Well, the fact is that on this forum, if you want to discuss the finances of the country or foreign policy...you know those pesky real issues, you get nothing.

HOWEVER, if you are going to demean someone personally, or discuss tripe like this, the thread is never ending. It gets very frustrating, for me anyway.

I suggest if we couldn't discuss Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, or any of the associations of our President....and we couldn't discuss his closed life (grades, etc) then lets close out this stuff and TALK ABOUT WHAT IS FACING OUR COUNTRY AND WHAT EACH CANDIDATE IS/CAN DO ABOUT IT FOR OUR COUNTRY. Lets stop making fun of PEOPLE and stick to how we feel about what is facing the country.

Bucco,

I honestly do not know what you are saying in this post - probably directed at me. Did you think I was making fun of Romney or demeaning him?

No, I stated it does not matter to me how many nannies or maids the Romneys employed. I do think he would be a good President based upon his business acumen and his government experience and his common sense.

I am on your side on this matter.

Not specifically aimed at you. My aim was at those who come here to ONLY demean others who disagree with them, whether poster or candidate or supporter of candidate. Most of these folks NEVER EVER post to or discuss real issues but will jump on here when the thread is discussing a person that they can tear into.

And most of them cannot carry a candle alongside the folks they like to tear down. They do it ONLY AND TOTALLY because either their registration card carries a different designation or they disagree with their policy views and are unable to tell anyone WHY. I would welcome someone disagreeing, and even proving me wrong if they stuck to our problems instead of the character attacks.

So, it seems from DJ's post that about 4 domestics are accounted for. Gee, that's a lot less than the number Coralway pulled out of his ....................

Just asked to illustrate and demonstrate the "class warfare" of the left which is evident here.

For a liberal, if you are able to afford help, you're suspect. If the government provides you help, you're righteous.

It's a strange world in the mind of a liberal.

All of this thread was suppposed to be about Caribou Barbie's comments regarding Hilary Rosen's mischosen words. Well, Caribou Barbie sure did a fine job on raising Bristol, didn't she?

I really loved the story recently when Levi Johnson told Bristol he and his current squeeze were expecting a baby. Bristol was supposed to have exploded and said that she was so angry that their baby would have 10 half-siblings by the time it got to kindergarten and would be teased by other kids. Well, that is the price to pay when choosing a daddy for your baby.

using Richie's words:

"For a liberal, if you are able to afford help, you're suspect."

Then what is a liberal that can afford the help? A POTUS or Congressman perhaps?

Buggyone In all due respect then talk about Palin's comments regarding rosen's mischosen words don't berate her parenting skills. In fairness I have met some really fine parents whom have reared fine kids but save one. Some kids get it and some just ignore parental counseling, especially in this day and age of apogean peer pressure.....

Rubicon,
Did you get a chance to try the golfing tip I proposed on your hooking the ball? Hope it helped. Let me know.

Yep, Sarah did a good job with the others except for Bristol. I would not put Sarah as a spokesperson for family values, though, when she could not instill that in all her kids - nor would I put Bristol up as a role model for teens to preach abstinence after she had a baby out of wedlock as a 16 year old.
