You're very presumptuous in commenting on someone else's kids. If you have any first hand knowledge in raising kids you would know that sometimes you can do everything right and still be defeated at times with your children.

The biggest obstacle, other than bad kids who were very influential in their lives, I had with raising my children was combating the liberal secularist agenda of the public schools they attended.

I blame the liberal school boards for some of my disappointments with my children.
Thank God they survived the experience and are on good paths in their adult lives.

Public schools, Richie? I thought you would have had your children in Catholic school through high school so they would not be fodder for the liberal secular education forced upon our youths. I am sure you had that option for schooling the kids. But that is neither here nor there. Your kids turned out good as they had good role models for parents.

I took my son out of public schools because their incompetence was detrimental to my son's development, but my daughter finished her public school education.

I was never a rich guy, and I was already forced to pay for her public school education.

It's been my experience (myself and putting 2 daughters through school) that the most important part of making a public school education valuable is AN INVOLVED PARENT.

If a parent treats school like a babysitting service, it doesn't matter if it's private or public (except you can get thrown out of private schools).
