Dear Guest calling you a racist is what such people actually believe is an argument. Post#22 hit it finally. Guess what party had the majority slave owners? guess what party had a president that liberated slaves? Guess which party fought against civil rights blocked entrances to schools, etc?

Bill Buckley once explained the difference between a liberal and a conservative with an illustration of a drowning man. He said in hopes of saving the man a conservative would throw the life preserver half way out so the man would swim toward the shore and then they could haul him in. Whereas a liberal would thrown the preserver over his head have him swim out further in order to attempt to save his life.

The Civil Rights Act and Voting rights Act were a good thing but leave it to liberals to go over board and we move from equal opportunity to guaranteed equal results and it has gotten so out of hand that even blacks like Thomas Sowell, Jason Riley and Justice Clarence Thomas preach that the liberals are enslaving blacks with all their kindness entitlements, etc. Some universities are now doing away with racial quotas, preferences that have adversely affected all other races and nationalities except blacks.

My cousin was a straight A student scholastic honors and had a baseball scholarship and interviewed with Harvard. Before he even began he was told that because he wasn't black and if he wasn't gay not to even bother. Only in America

According to this post, Harvard University only graduates blacks and gays. All other need not apply. Does anybody know if this is true? What year did this event involving the cousin take place?

I sincerely doubt that Harvard had an affirmative action policy for gays. Let's see some proof of that statement from a Harvard site (from the years the poster's cousin was applying.)

Of these factoids are attributed to he Republican Party. Just shows how things can change. For the record none are or will be attributed to your beloved tea party except the ability to line your pockets and just say no!
