Transgenders should have to use the bathroom in which their appearance would not upset people as to cause violence against them but this should not be a law but just a social norm.

It seems like the law will fall to an ACLU challenge if it is worded in terms of biological parts only and that also seems to invite attacks on people looking like they do not belong in that restroom. You want the woman who was Bruce Jenner peeing in your restroom. I assume he/she no longer has that equipment but it still would be weird for Bruce Jenner to walk into a men's restroom in the Villages and not expect to be arrested.

Some are, some aren't. Wiser I mean. Younger are often much more open-minded.

Transgenders should learn quite a lot about self-defense IMHO. There seems always to be quite a lot of hatred and prejudice against people who are seen to be different.

Stay out of the bathroom that you don't belong in and you won't have to worry about it. And don't worry about someone checking the bathroom. It isn't against the law for anyone to go into any restroom if the transgender law is approved. There will no longer be a need to label the restrooms with any gender because it will be redundant/moot. I do not care about transgender sensitivities. I consider them to be mentally unstable. You are either male of female by birth, no redos. If you don't like the plumbing you were born with, then complain to your maker, it's not my fault. When you grow up, you learn to live with life's hard knocks, or die. Either way, I don't care but don't think that you are going to make me accept your mental handicap. If you wish to dress like a fool, fine. But, you still go into the public restroom according to your plumbing, period.. NO special considerations due to your sensitivity. You can be sensitive at home and act out your deviancy.

If that makes me a bigot by your standard, so be it. I'll own it. After all, you liberals have owned socialism. I can live with being labeled a bigot, but I wouldn't want to be labeled a socialist and be known to be dependent on the gov to care for me.

If the one formerly known as Bruce Jenner still has male plumbing, I would expect him to use the mens restroom. Dress has nothing to do with it. Only females worry about style of attire. There are plenty of freaks out there that wear clothes that many feel are distasteful. That doesn't mean that we discriminate according to style taste. Or do we? Besides, you know how women get when a man leaves the toilet seat up? It will just give them more ammo to bit*h about.

I'm sorry to inform you that life isn't as black and white as you would like it to be. Our society has both socialist and capitalist aspects. There is a continuum. On a scale of 0 - 10 on the continuum with 0 being totally socialist and 10 being totally capitalism I'd guess we were about an 7 or 8.

Because of the recent (last 20 years) disparity between the rich and poor it appears to me that we need to move that number down a few notches. Don't worry, you'll still be able to hate people who don't look like you and you can still watch your fox news and listen to them tell you how the world will end if a democrat is elected. The difference would be that we have more programs designed to level the playing field so children who had the misfortune of being born to poor parents can have a greater chance of achieving the American Dream.

And yes, you are a bigot. But you knew that didn't you?

Why would Caitlyn Jenner use the men's restroom. She is a woman now despite whatever junk she still might have down below. And most reasonable people when meeting Caitlyn Jenner would say she is a woman based on her appearance. A little masculine looking but still a woman.
