Here is where Trump needs to grow up and learn that as President of the United States, he should not simply be popping off.

Today he went after Boeing on twitter on their costs for the newest Air Force One (how he knows anything about it is beyond me)....but this is the response....

"Before Trump's tweet, Boeing was trading at $152.16 a share. After the tweet, it fell, 1.6 percent to a low of $149.75 a share, according to FactSet. Within the first hour of trading, shares of Boeing were down about 0.5 percent.

Now perhaps he does not care....as he said...not matter what he will still be rich....we don't know the motivation because he will not allow anyone to know (taxes) how much he might make or lose on any comment and affect on the market BUT....he must learn he affects people....real people with his mouth.

Do you have stock in Boeing....or is it in your 401 K ?

jimbo2012 12-06-2016 10:43 AM

Pop off, get use to it he a CHANGE candidate.

Screw Boeing, that where there price should then.

They overpriced the plane, Trump know what a jet cost....ya think.

he was responding to gov vendors to wake up and stop ripping us off.

remember the $750 toilet seat

PS Mr sky is falling MSM watcher the stock is at $151 now

IS $4 billion too much? If it is...then screw Boeing for trying to gouge the taxpayer.

Why has it become the "whistle-blower" is the bad guy? When someone does something wrong...we should call them out.

Just took a look at cost of that bird it's $360 million, where can they add up to 4 billion

Granted there is a lot of stuff to add but that much, that's what business men do they reason that something is wrong.

This type of behavior, is exactly what has so many worried...when he refuses to put his businesses in a blind trust.

It wouldn't surprise me, if he told his kids to buy Boeing.

Even if he didn't, the potential/temptation for this type of shady action...is certainly in his wheelhouse.

It would be refreshing if he would eventually understood that in his position as POTUS...words matter.

Or maybe he does....which is even scarier. :ohdear:

Good post

He aint gonna lose money with this being President stuff....he will make it on someone back and we will not know until he is leaving and saying...I told you....I will still be rich.

He just has not grown up. I believe he knows exactly what he is doing and it is all about the Trump company and family.

In my opinion the major factor that is being overlooked here is that Trump demonstrates what he brings different to the political quagmire in Washington.

If you made a contract for the contruction of your new home for $200,000 and some where along the line you were advised it was going to be $400,000, what would be your reaction?
Cancel or raise hell to get back to the contract right?

That is what Trump is doing differently. He is demonstrating what all good managers do when they inherit a new business.
Cut and kill those expenditures that make no reasonable sense what so ever. Hence cancel the Boeing order.

The business as usual politician, demonstrated here to date, would just let it go merrily along. It is not their money. They are not going to upset the voter base that work for Boeing. Wrong is wrong.

And yes, this is a demonstartion of the good reason why many are afraid of what Trump IS GOING TO DO, that upends the status quo and disrupts those who have been milking the USA for years.

Whether the rank and file or the uniformed like it or not this is a positive example of what can be expected from a non establishment, business/politics as usual
president.

Lets clear the air on this there will not be a blind trust you guys don't understand how that would work.

A blind trust is money not operating businesses or real estate.

So he would have to sell everything in a month........

Not happening if he wanted to.

He is well within the law as Pres to keep his biz holdings, he is exempt. He can even be involved if he wishes to.

On 12/15 he will make announcements to how he's turning things over to his kids, guess what he can do as he pleases.

Everyone that voted for him knew he had this issue, those that didn't vote for him get over it!

So stop talking about it already.

He will take some heat from certain decisions, big deal he'll hand;e it.

This issue is not going away at all.

WSJ had an article detailing what should be done. Obviously by LAW he need to do nothing.

I will tell you, not only in this country but around the world his PERSONAL business WILL be an issue. To make a deal, you need two parties to agree. China, for example, will not agree on anything without knowing how he fits with Russia. Although perhaps maybe, for the first time in history, only the American people will be left in the dark. No surprise....for the first time, we allowed a foreign country to decide OUR election.

We keep saying...it is now all about only the USA but realistically, we are giving it away to ONE SINGLE man and whatever foreign country who hacks us...

And we do not care

This issue has never been an issue for almost 50 years. Nobody found it necessary to hide things and most felt a responsibility to the country for transparency.

It is not going away.
