I've already admitted iin this thread that I am a Liberal Democrat who voted for Hillary Clinton. Not sorry. Would do it again.

But I have lots of very fine Conservative Republican friends here in The Villages. I party with them. I golf with them. I play softball with them. And I like them a lot. We don't talk much politics, but we do a little. We are able to do that without insulting each other. I call them out. They call me out. We don't have to completely agree to be completely friends!

My question for Conservative Republicans reading this thread is, "How do you react to the obvious racism expressed by some of the posts in this thread?" Are you disturbed by it? Do you agree with it? Does it reflect your own views of race? Do you think it reflects the views of the Trump White House?

I'm not trying to throw gasoline on the fire. I really want to know. Frankly, I'm appalled by some of the comments in this thread about African Americans, women, Hispanics, and persons with progressive political leanings. Do those comments accurately reflect the prevailing sentiment of the Republican party in America, or in The Villages? And if so, are you ok with that?
