The narrative says crisis ... but the data says hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, droughts, etc are all decreasing as we warm. Plus, the long-term trend is cooling.

Wow. This graphic strongly supports a theory I've been developing. Notice the four most recent peaks, during the Minoan civilization, the peak of the Roman Empire, the Renaissance development of civilized Europe, and today. All four of these periods were characterized by an excess of political discussion as society re-arranged itself.
Obviously, the source of global warming is the hot air caused by political rhetoric! The ice core record shows it!
Of course, I don't know about those other two peaks at 8000 and 7000 years ago. Apparently, those were before God created the Earth.
