Default It’s A Little Chilly

Woke this morning at 4:30, and Alexa in the bedroom gave the brief rundown of weather. 43°, OK need to dress warm for golf ride.

In the kitchen our Himalayan wanted to be picked up and snuggled, while I made coffee. While staring at the Alexa in the Kitchen set for our northern home in Michigan temp is 41°.

Granddaughters text from Michigan at 4:45, “Need your Columbia jacket this morning” Definitely putting the sides down on the cart this morning.

Great minds think alike.. spouse already had the slow cooker filled with spices and ground chuck. Chili for dinner, I’m going to need the warmth.

If we could find northern large navy soup beans, I would be very happy.

Camella Great Northern Dry, online, or sometimes if I am desperate Randell Great Northern Jar only far less additive and sodium.
Publix and Walmart only carries Canned usually Bush or their brand. Occasionally 16oz Randell but sodium in can is outrageous.

Randell’s is carried in Florida at some Rural King, in jars. Last 6 months no jars were available.

Curious, at what time does one go to be up at 4:30 am?

We try to plan ahead and use dry beans.

Where is global warming when we need it?

Midnight, we had a 5 course 4.5 hour dining event arriving home after 11:30. Chatting about evening then bedtime.
Early tee time, adding 45-50 minute cart ride, plus I always arrive at least 30 minutes early. So 4:30 wake up shower, light breakfast, scan the paper, weather, conversation with spouse, and out the door.

Pretty normal for our lifestyle

At least 3 days a week we are out late (after 10pm) Bonus living south of 44, lots of curfew rule breakers, after 11pm. We have active police presence, with Wildwood PD late at night. My spouse sees them every morning at 4am.

Same thing happened to me. Took a leak and went back to bed for 4 more hours and got up and it was a beautiful sunny day and already in the low 60’s. All good : )
