Be advised that NASA not only uses modeled data (data in regions were no thermometers exist) but they also use data which they fabricate (e.g. altered data). To the point, this graph shows U.S. temperature data from the U.S. Climatological Network (USHCN) for raw (or observed) data.

......The 1st world countries are to blame for CAUSING this Global RUNAWAY HEAT threat and they are paying the price for their greed and thoughtlessness with UNWANTED migration from South to North. That is a recent (20 year) phenomenon which has nothing to do with 1,000 year intervals of geological time. This is a BIG right-NOW problem. The only thing that I am doing is trying NOT to ignore it, like MANY are doing.

Quick question: Do you have there rants saves and just "cut & paste" them, or are you actually taking the time to type them out, again and again and again? If it's the latter, it seems to be a colossal waste of time...

Actually, I am a pretty normal, well adjusted JOE that has enjoyed the subject of Science since high school science class. Climate Change is the biggest LONG TERM problem faced by the whole WORLD. It is easy to ignore because it has happened S-L-O-W-L-Y in the PAST. But, that is HISTORY, it is happening RAPIDLY in the past 10 years. Interesting, I just heard on TV that scientists actually warned about this happening in the 1950s and some of the scientists worked in the OIL industry. Also, I heard that 2023 was the HOTTEST YEAR on the planet for the last 100,000 years! Remember this summer when the Mississippi River practically dried up and that HAD for bring gasoline prices and prices for other goods up. So, global warming has already affect all of the Villagers. There is some good news because wind and solar farms are now the lowest cost for electrical energy, and that cost is decreasing. Atomic ENERGY produced by NEWER methods is likely only about ten years away. I don't mind debate, but I have refrained from engaging in ANY personal attacks. PLEASE just debate, NOT insult!

Humans have managed to warm up the earth in quite a short time due to pollution from factories, cars, buses, trucks, ships, etc. And maybe cows and other animals.

Sorry Jimjamuser, insult is one of their favorite tools, along with belittling, denying, claiming debunking, deflection (well what about blah blah), presentation "alternative facts" (misinformation) to fool the ---, well you get the idea. Like talking to a flat earthen while sitting in the middle of the great plains, they won't believe the world is round no matter what. The only alternative would be to shoot them into space to experience the truth for themselves. Even then, some would think they had been tricked because their minds cannot conceive the truth.

Especially here in the Villages with the gas model golf carts. Mine only goes, at best, 20-22 MPH. And that is on a steep incline. Governor only allows me to go 19.9 MPH. Saves the engine according to the dealer.

I had one golf cart zip past me going around 40 and doing it very loudly with what sounded like a motorcycle engine.
