Never happen at Disney because they have REAL scientists that would know that recent science states that the Tong Eruption had very little to do with Global Warming. And they say that the cause is back to industrial and vehicle CO2 pollution.

Yes it is EGO and man's notorious lack of flexibility and resistance to change. The main problem is that the oil and gas industry executives are doing RIGHT by themselves and NOT US and world citizens. They COULD move their companies toward the manufacture of Electric vehicles, but they are short-sighted and FEAR change.

This is expected. As the population increases ... more people are born and more people die ... while cold kills 10 times more than heat. Fortunately, the earth is still warming, and maybe it will eventually be warm enough for the Vikings to again grow their crops on Greenland.

People who attend the Aug 26 at 1 PM at Bridgeport talk about Tonga will see how Data trumps Narrative ... and how there is no better explanation for the 2024 heating spike other than Tonga's unprecedented water vapor injection into the stratosphere .... because water vapor is earth's monster greenhouse gas -- and not CO2.

Continued use of the Infernal Combustion Engine is what the oil and gas industrialist want. They have a VESTED interest in POLLUTING the Earth and causing HEAT waves (just like in Texas yesterday setting HEAT records and KILLING PEOPLE). Scientists are like umpires at a baseball game--------they call the environmental (balls and strikes)!!!!!!!

Very good. But the "you know whos" may never change. Not that they don’t know better (I firmly believe many do), but they are so ingrained to their cult of denial, and/or their egos so engorged (or fragile) that they can't, just can't bring themselves to acknowledge the reality of global warming and the part that humanity plays in exacerbating the situation. "Father! Forgive them for they know not what they do". My nightly prayer. I read it in a book, somewhere, and in these times it seems appropriate. jmHo.

This has to be sarcasm! Has to be!

Or someone who has no clue at all about anything.

Nope! Definitely sarcasm! πŸ€”

Sadly, (and accurately), it's neither

Wish people would raise their hand and say they are being sarcastic, or not. Sometimes hard to tell.

You should really try to stop doing all of the things you just mentioned (or projected onto others)...

I'll pray for you...

I gave the details of the Texas A+M scientists that wrote a paper saying that the Tonga event was negligible for the world climate. If that is not mentioned at the climate or weather Club (whatever the name) then that is like telling a great big Climate Change FIB to the fellow Clubbies. Avoiding the TRUTH will NOT make a Club a better club. Also there is PERSONAL responsibility.

The UN Sec General said that world wide the month of May, 2024 was the HOTTEST on record. Also the past 12 months were record heat.

"cold kills 10 times more than heat" I doubt that! Please provide a scientific reference!
