From the Google machine...

"Globally, cold deaths are 9 times higher than heat-related ones. In no region is this ratio less than 3, and in many, it's over 10 times higher. Cold is more deadly than heat, even in the hottest parts of the world.

"The study that estimates that 7.7% of deaths were attributed to temperature found that 7.3% were from cold temperatures; 0.4% were from heat."

How many people die from extreme temperatures, and how this could change in the future: Part one - Our World in Data.

Gee, that wasn't hard to find at all...

Correct. The heat is a combination of natural global warming and Tonga.

Avoiding the TRUTH will NOT make a Club a better club. Also there is PERSONAL responsibility.

That paper not only ignored the UAH satellite data, but it did not provide evidence what else could cause today's warming spike. At the Weather Club we do provide that evidence -- with simple and easy to understand data (and not narratives). Personal responsibility is required for all speakers at the Weather Club, where narratives are questioned and data is honored. We provide what the media does not -- which is why the club is constantly growing. We also encourage open public debate, unlike those who say the debate is over. Try it - you'll like it.

If a retarded UN parasite said it then it must be true.
Obviously cold kills more people than heat. Obviously.

Seems to me that might have something to do with the number of people who choose to expose themselves to extremely cold temps vs extremely hot temps. 🤔

Why don't you tell how you really feel?

Those who attend the Weather Club know that's a nonsense response. More importantly, humans are tropical life forms because we were born without fur. Take away our clothes and shelters ... and guess where we migrate to -- where we originally came from -- and this is why cold kills faster than heat.

Take away my clothes and home and I will migrate to Sub-Saharan Africa? I guess. If your say so. 🫣

Actually yes -- during the AHP. Those that attend The Villages Weather club already know that the Sahara had as much rainfall as the US (when it was warmer than today) and when the Sahara was the bread-basket of the Roman Empire 10,000 years ago -- because climate changes "naturally" and in cycles. Visit the Weather Club to find out how this happens -- and without CO2.

Actually the Roman empire begin with Augustus (31 BC) and lasted for about 500 years.

In 10,000 BC Rome hadn't even been thought of. Rome began as a small city in 753 BC.

The numbers in the quoted post are about 8,000 years off (give or take)...

Great point ... pre-Roman times is better ... but the African Humid Period was a time when it was the bread-basket of Mediterranean region, when Lake Chad was the largest lake in the world.

The "why"is still being ignored by the media and even the Weather Channel. They are all baffled by the late and low 2024 hurricane count. Even today's Francine is a disappointment to many for not getting stronger as first forecast. Tonga anyone?
