Canadian Loonies & Toonies Golf Tournament and Dinner
Canadian Loonies & Toonies 2016 - 6th Annual Edition Golf Tournament and Dinner Foursomes will be randomly made up. We will not put spouses together unless specifically requested but will arrange foursomes to make sure they sit together at dinner. This is a best ball scramble fun golf day designed for members to have fun and meet other members. There is no problem if you are a beginner-golfer but must be a paid up member of Canadian Loonies & Toonies to play. 2016 Dues can be paid at the registration desk day of golf event if you are just arriving for season DATE:Monday March 07, 2016 LOCATION:Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Del Webb Spruce Creek on 441 just north of The Villages. TIME:1:00 p.m. Shot Gun Start [we all start at the same time]. Please arrive by 12:30 so we can get to starting hole on time. DINNER:6:00 p.m. Eagle Ridge Golf Club Dining Room. MENU:Buffet dinner, tossed salad, Chicken Marsala, rice, vegetable medley, rolls and butter, dessert. Gluten Free meal will also be available - please advise if needed PRICE: $50 US (Including: Golf, prizes, Buffet-Dinner, all taxes & gratuities) $15 payable to Heather Gordon in advance for meal by 10 Feb 16 (pay at Dec/Jan meeting or mail to Heather Gordon, 1497 Hollyberry Place, The Villages, Fl 32162 - after November 29th. $35 payable upon arrival at Eagle Creek in pro shop Canadian Loonies and Toonies Best Ball Canscramble FOUR PERSON TEAMS: BE CREATIVE NAME YOUR TEAM ON INSIDE OF SCORE CARD -please print neatly Men play from Blue or White Tees - your choice Ladies play from the Red or Lavender Tees your choice Each player tees off on every hole. The best tee shot is chosen then all play their second shots from that spot except for the player whose drive was chosen - he or she must hit next shot with a putter only. You may tee up the ball to hit with a putter. All hit their second shot and the best second shot is chosen then all play their third shots in the same manner as the second shot was played and so on until ball is in the hole. Remember whoever's shot you choose, he/she must use a putter for their next shot but may tee it up. All shots must be played from the same locale and conditions as the shot chosen. On all shots players may lift, clean and place their ball within one club length, no closer to the hole and without improving the lie conditions [if in the rough, or sand etc. ball must stay in the rough , sand etc.] - except on putting surfaces where you should be within one putter head of the spot. Prizes: Closest to the pin ladies Closest to the pin men Lowest team score of the Day (ties broken by draw) Best Outfit [the redder the better] Team who knows how to count RECORD TOTAL SCORE INCLUDING PUTTS ON 1ST LINE RECORD # PUTTS ON 2ND LINE PRESTIGIOUS LOONIES AND TOONIES TROPHY WILL BE AWARDED TO TEAM WITH LOWEST PUTTS -TIE TO BE BROKEN BY DRAW PUTT IS DEFINED AS A STROKE TAKEN ON THE GREEN - PUTT FROM FRINGE DOES NOT COUNT AS A PUTT NB: SEATING IS BY TABLES OF 12 AND BY TEAM # CHECK TABLE #S WHEN YOU GET IN
