I used Van's which was recommended. They came back twice (first time not clean) and my rugs two months later are dirtier than ever. I will try Veteran's. Thank you....

Has anyone used Chem Dry or some other cleaning company that does not leave the carpet very wet?

Default carpet cleaning

We just had Floor Masters 352-748-7444 (ask for Scott) do ours. We had some very bad spots due to an aged dog with a bladder infection. He was able to clean them to our satisfaction.

Had used Veterans last year and when we called the answering machine said they had gone out of business.

CFrance, the carpets dry quickly.

Heaven's Best uses the technique that doesn't leave the carpets soaking wet.

From Heaven's Best web site.

Quote:
Our Carpet Cleaning Process

First the carpets are vacuumed with a powerful commercial vacuum; then a portable edger vacuum is used to remove the loose soil from the carpet and baseboards. The bonnet method consists of environmentally friendly, nontoxic cleaning solutions that are sprayed onto the carpet at a rate of 1 gallon per 500 sf. This is approximately one tenth the amount that a typical steam cleaner would use.

Once the cleaning solutions are sprayed onto the carpets, we use a rotary floor machine with the cleaning pads (bonnets) to gently churn between the carpet fibers and trap the moisture and dirt into the pads. Several pads are used, then on the last pass, a cotton terry towel is used to help speed the drying time. The results are a clean fresh smelling carpet with no soapy residue.

Upon completion, a carpet groomer (rake) is used to raise the carpet fibers and give a nice finished look. Any furniture that was moved will be moved back with plastic protectors under each leg to keep from staining. Typically drying times are 1-2 hours depending on soiling. Deodorizing comes standard on all cleaning jobs.

However, if you have pet odor issues, special pet enzymes & deodorizers may be needed to achieve maximum results and will be priced according to the extent of the problem. Other carpet services such as red stain, wax, and gum removal, as well as carpet protector, are available for an additional charge.

I used Van's and they had to come back because the carpet's were not clean properly. I'll use someone else next time. Probably try Heaven's.

I use a company called "Over the TOP carpet cleaning. he cleans tile floors as well. He only works by referral and the results are amazing.
You will never realize how dirty your floors were until he cleans them. He is very reasonable and honest. 352-502-1230.
