We had our home landscaped by one of the larger companies 3 years ago. The owner did our design, and though she was not from this area, we trusted she knew what she was doing. They ended up doing our neighbor's home as well.
3 years later our 'low maintenance' landscape is a JUNGLE, though we are trimming monthly to keep it at bay (the plants that didn't freeze and die anyway), our neighbor was in the same boat.
We got several estimates to fix our landscape, but this time we did our homework on the varieties the landscapers wanted to us to use. Most would have grown way too large WAY to fast. Except for the design we got from Robert Fell at Escapes Landscaping. He used dwarf material and plants that topped out at a size fitting the location. His price was also very good. His crew was wonderful. Polite and hard working.
Thank you Robert for saving our home, we were thinking about moving to get away from a horrible landscape, now we love our home again.
