Has anyone found a chiropractor to replace
Dr. Dulgar and gives similar treatment?
Not one that uses the drop table but does mostly
hands-on adjustments?

I hear you, it is a challenge to find a good one.
I am on my fourth one in the Villages. Admittedly, I am hard to adjust, but a good Palmer grad can do it, if he only will. The ones I have tried are a bit too much into the electronic gadgets, well they do not work for me at all, probably good for the bank account though.
So,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Here is my plan.
Call and make some arrangements, by phone, OK, no x-rays, no electronic gadgets. I have my own x rays, keep them always.
I find on one visit he can or he cannot do it, maybe two visits max.
Sorry to be so blunt but at the prices now we have to get something for what we pay, just going back and going back is not the solution.
Going to start calling to set up number 5 soon.
Have gone to Chiros all my life, on the West Coast, one or two visits does it for a couple of months. My wife would go once in six months, all fixed up fine.
Different Chiros, have different skills.

Thanks for reply. I too have gone to chiropractors
all my life and it is maddening not to be able to go for one or two adjustments and feel good. Do you know anything
about Dr. Hines in Summerfield? He advertised in today's Daily Sun.

I do not know of Dr. Hines. I am going to try Legacy next.
We have been looking and hoping for a good result. A good Palmer graduate should be able to do it.
On the x rays, if they need to take them, then have a firm agreement that you will keep them yourself, in that way if you change Chiros, then you have the x rays to take in. One sad tale, they want to keep them, absolutely not, next thing? "Well we have to do them again because we cleaned out the office files." BS! X rays are not good for you. Have you noticed the wall they stand behind while they x ray your body,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, be AWARE!!!!

I am not a doctor, only passing on the methods we use based on a lot of experience with Drs. and Chiros.

Thanks for tips re: x-rays. My first chiro was Palmer grad years ago but the new grads seem to have abandoned hands on.
They use drop tables which have totally messed up my spine. I have heard good things about Dr. Yoder (female chiro) so I am going to look into her. Dr. Hines is in Summerfield at the Baylee Plaza and the advertisement says "traditional and low force techniques". I will check him out.

The other thing I was surprised about is the large "consulting" fee that so many of them charge.

I never had these issues until my chiropractor retired back in March.
