It would be nice if we could be refunded our rental fee and deposit for our April rental. Since, through no fault of ours, we could not come to Florida, it is illegal not to refund the money. The deposit was not refunded. We were told the house had to be cleaned. We were not there to get it dirty and the rental fee was not refunded, she said she spent it. We informed them we could not come there, due to the Virus. We offered to rent it for a time period, but she said no. The Villages will not get a good reputation doing business like this. We rented homes down there for over 10 years and this is the only place that we were unhappy with and will not be back. $3,800 is a lot of money to loose.
