Just wanted to say hi. We just closed on a house in Lake Deaton. We live in the Chicago area and will be retiring next year. We are doing a partial move next week so that we have enough stuff there to visit when we have the chance. Good luck to you on your house-hunting. OK, Y'all win. My wife and I have been reseaching the Villages for a couple of months. Been reading your post, talking to people, watching video's. Have heard nothing but great things. So, we are coming to the Villages Thursday July 21st to see for ourselves. Be forewarned, we are coming to meet you, to talk with you and do our best to make some new long lasting friends. We will only be there for 4 days, so there may be a couple of you that we may miss. We will be the good looking couple beside the road in our golf cart scratching our heads, looking lost.
