Default Bald Eagles are back in The Villages

This Bald eagle was sitting in the tree on Riley Grove yesterday. First eagle I have seen since spring.

This Osprey has been using that dead tree on Riley all summer. After I took the eagle photo I turned around and he was sitting on a light post on 466 watching the eagle sitting on HIS tree.

Wow, you really are in the right places at the right times! I love seeing your photos when you post them. Do you just happen upon your wildlife pictures or do you sit and wait?

ALE. You are such an artist with that camera. AND a naturalist too.

That dead tree or as we call it " the ghost tree" is a popular spot for the Eagles. They get a great eye view of dinner from the nearby pond. We watched that happen recently...he flew down and got himself a good size fish & went back to the tree to enjoy his catch.

Thanks for sharing. We just moved here from Chicago in July, and have never had such close sitings. So majestic.

Default one sited on Rainey Trail

A mature eagle flew in front of my car Sunday on Rainey Trail near 301. Almost drove off the road to watch it.
