Default Another new pizza place?

In today's Sun, classified section, there is a legal notice about a fictitious name business call NYPD Pizzeria to be located at 4046 Wedgewood La... This is the strip center in front of Walmart and probably the old Big City grill (?) location. Nothing on the gourmet club website.

Anybody know anything about it?

My boss' friend is opening it and yes it is an eat-in and takeout. Don't know if here will be delivery. It's where Bog City Grill is going in. Can't wait.

Default New pizza place

I doubt it is "fictitious". I think it is the New York Pizza Department(NYPD) . We have eaten the pizza from NYPD in Palm Beach. The pizza is more New York than any of the other Villages pizza places. We are looking forward to their opening.

NYPD pizza is the real deal. I used to eat at the one in Winter Garden all the time. Very good pizza. If the oil aint runnin down your arm while you're eating it, it aint real NY pizza.
Just my 2 cents

lol

"A fictitious name is a name under which any person or business shall do or transact any business in this state which is other than the true name of such person or business. A fictitious name is commonly referred to as a "DBA", an acronym for "doing business as." Filing a fictitious name registration does not afford or secure any exclusive rights to the name."

We've been to a couple of NYPD Pizzas in Albuquerque and they were very good.

In Palm Beach Gardens, we have an NYPD - New York Pizza Department. It has been one of the better ones.

Wonder if they are adding a store up here.

(I should have checked for new messages before posting this repetitious one.)

They could have had more at some point. I just visited the website to check this info. I've only been to one in Orlando.
