Default Dirty Mc Donald's

I have never been in such a dirty McDonalds like the one in Colony Square on 466A. i have gone in there and not one table is clean and the place was empty. The manager must not care it has been close once and I am sure you will see it again

We stopped going there years ago when the fly situation got out of hand.

Default McDonalds on 466A

I have been in this store many times including a couple of times recently. I have NEVER seen it the way it was described in the original post. If I ever saw a store as was described, I would ask to see the manager for an explanation before I would make any conclusions.

Why????

If it's dirty, it's dirty, and when it's empty, somebody has time to clean tables and sweep but the manager's not making them do it and he's not doing it himself.

Might as well ask how often he beats his wife, too.

it is that store that has been presented here before as being cited for health code violations....and yes it is 100% the fault of management....THE LACK OF IT!!

BTK is absolutely correct. Not only did it have violations, but the violations were so persistent and so serious that the health department closed them for several days until the issues were corrected. I believe this has happened twice in the past 1.5 years. Apparently the owner hasn't learned anything from his prior experiences.

I agree about the dirty McDonald's. The last two times I have been there about 6:00 p.m. No food was made ahead, there was a wait on everything. There was one poor lonely guy in the back making food and the rest of the employees were goofing off in the front. All of the tables were dirty as well as the trash overflowing and the floors dirty. When I got my food the fish sandwich was so cold I was afraid to eat it. The fries were tough and hard. I went up and asked for a replacement. They threw my food across the room like a basketball to the trash. This place is going downhill fast. No manager in sight.

I've been to this McDonald's many times. Maybe I was just lucky to find the staff polite, food hot, and restaurant clean... every time.

If they keep up that type of appearance and with PDQ taking away business next door, the owner will notice when his bottom line starts shrinking.

Since they serve breakfast 24/7 we have been stopping at the McDonalds on 466 in front of Walmart when I finish my softball game on Saturday mornings. They actually have better pancakes than Bob Evans, IHOP or Perkins and not as long a wait. I also notice that McDonalds location is run much better.

Same here; I go hit balls at Sarasota quite a bit and occasionally I will get something for breakfast or lunch; have not seen it dirty or food cold; do have a tendency to have too many people gabbing out front during off hours. Do wish it was more modern like the one on 441.

I've been there many times for breakfast and lunch and have never witnessed the problems people are complaining about.

We have never had a problem there, other than the fact that they are tremendously busy, from open to close. I think they do a good job of getting the orders out asap. when people linger over tables for longer than usual, it is hard for staff to get those tables turned over in a reasonable time.
We often eat outside for that reason.

You are talking about a business that hires minimum wage employees and serves up inexpensive junk food. Trust me, you should not be concerned about tables that are not bussed to the standards of fine dining establishments.
Just for an experiment, try making a nice post just to be different.

EXAMPLE: It sure is nice to have a McDonald's so conveniently located in colony and I am impressed how they manage to get it cleaned up between breakfast, lunch and dinner with all the in and out customers.
