Nope, Richard is a brewmeister not a chef.

20 minute wait for food orders when it is only half full? Not a good omen.

Then to learn that the new food is sold out? I'm outta there.

We went there when they first opened as Las Tapas, the mgr was a dj, after several foul ups on drinks & menu items, I asked to speak to the mgr, he (the bartender said he was the mgr) he told us to leave & the bill was on the house- never set foot in there again

Looks like the a second edition of the Titanic stopping for ice again

We're a tough audience, but unless you give the customers what they want they will go someplace else & you're out of business.

Default German Restaurant

I tried the "new" restaurant on Wednesday and was very disappointed. It looks like management doesn't have any experience in the operation of a restaurant.
The employees were poorly trained and even though it wasn't busy they still had us wait 15mins. for a table because they were short on help.
Very limited German menu (5 items) and they had run out of two of them. My friends had gone earlier and had the same experience. We ended up going to Cody's for dinner.

so a german breakfast is sauerkraut over fried duck eggs mit pumpernickel side toast.

chef is probably a gator-type guy so burgers are his real expertise.

advice to the owner cut your loses, and bail

you did zero demographic research, did not know your competition and more important a lousy business plan--more of an exercise in personal importance than trying to make money ?

Learn from this mistake & don't repeat it

"I'm trying to clean up my act." I'm German/Irish....I'll pass judgement next week from the common man's point of view not the view of royalty. Until then chill out Schultz or we'll ship you to the front. Can you imagine someone passing judgement like that? Sad

Unless the chef is German, sets the menu, and selects product, this will not be a German restaurant but rather a German themed restaurant.

We ate there last night. Had the Curry Wurst and tried the German APA Ale. We both got sick at 2 AM. I am pretty sure it was the food. Too bad, we both love good German food. Until I hear better reviews on TOTV I would not cross the street to go there much less travel from Spanish Springs.
