Will do, too!

Loved the Sunday brunch - was pleasantly surprised with the heated plates at the start of the line; food was tasty and server was top notch! Never felt rushed to make way for another party.

Also enjoyed dinner the other night! Mgr went out of the way to seat us away from noisy party of 32!!! Butterfish was great! Hubs would have enjoyed thicker fries with his meal, but that's personal. And I learned to request 'real' butter rather than just butter; and to ask that my baked potato not be dressed in the kitchen.

Looking forward to our next visit there!

My wife and I ate at OBH last week and were disappointed. I had the Chicken Alfredo and she had the shrimp and grits. Mine was overdone and hers - the shrimp was overdone and the grits underdone. Too many other great restaurants to go to.

A lot of complaints when the restaurant was closed, would that be better?

Well, it must be us, as two out of three experiences were not good. Friday Fish Frys are great, but be prepared to wait. Went back for lunch, and the Reuben was tough, cold, and we couldn't finish it between two of us. Then tried the breakfast buffet, since we heard it was good......NOT! Eggs were definitely not fresh eggs, possibly powdered eggs, and omelet station had quite a wait. other choices on buffet were so-so....no sweet rolls, just a few mini muffins, and some fruit. Even oatmeal was terrible.....I'm not a picky eater, but would not try this again. I left hungry

Our club "Classy Ladies" had lunch there last week, all 24 of us. Seated promptly and good service. Fish taco's were great. View is beautiful to pool.

They didn't just renovate. The restaurant building is rented to a different business from before. This one runs Belle Glade, and Bonifay and Evans Prairie. Bonny will tell you if there are more they own and rent here. I think the owner is Fred Amipour(?)

It is a nice place, with reasonable prices and great service. It is geared to the majority of Villagers wants and needs and it will succeed. BUT the front room chairs are not going to survive. lol.

Good morning everyone.

Close Gracie. It's Fred Karimipour. Besides the 4 Country Clubs, he owns Scooples.
We had dinner at Orange Blossom recently and we enjoyed it. Very good service.

We have had 2 disappointing meals at OBG. We won't be back. There are too many other great options around TV.

I hate to diss a restaurant, every place has bad days.
We prefer some of Fred's other restaurants, especially Bonifay.

Wife and I had lunch there shortly after it open. Very good. We will wait awhile for dinner until Everything settles down a bit.

As others have posted, you can get a bad meal anytime and anywhere. With residents coming from every State, and with different "tastes", you cannot please everyone no matter how hard you try. Regardless, OBG restaurant is a great asset to The historical side of The Villages.

They have a breakfast buffet...like Bonifay! Been to both, and enjoyed them. Food was excellent.
