Try Chicken Salad Chick on Bichara Blvd.
Had lunch there today and it was yummy. Wonderful soup and one of the best chicken salad's I have ever had.
The next time I gather a few for an impromptu lunch I will buy their chicken salad sold by the pound. The staff bent over backwards to welcome our group. It is very far north but worth the trip. Closes before dinnertime. The Villages, FL 996 Bichara Blvd. The Villages, FL 32159 United States Phone: (352) 775-9379 Fax: (352) 775-9380 Restaurant Menu Fax Order Form Store Page

Have ate there many times and it is such a simple concept and delicious! We have neighbors from Alabama, where this woman started her business out of her home. We were their a week ago and eavesdropping on a management meeting...They were discussing getting involved with the town squares and offering samples, sandwiches etc. My husband and I butted in and told them this was an excellent idea and to move forward with it...Hopefully, everyone will give it a try! Many flavor so, great soups, salads!

Hubby and I go there often, but always get Carryout. They have a plate with three scoops on lettuce with crackers and a pickle. We each get one of these, so we have now tried most of their chicken salads and found our favorites. I always add an order of their broccoli salad. It's delicious! Usually we either eat it in our golf cart while listening to music in the square or at home while we watch Jeopardy. Always have a scoop left to put in the fridge for lunch the next day. It closes at 7:00, so we do often have it for dinner.

It is very far north but worth the trip. Closes before dinnertime. 996 Bichara Blvd. When I was a kid on the far south side of Chicago a trip to the far north side of Chicago by bus was about 4 hours . . . was your trip to the far north more than 20 minutes? .

We took my 90 y/o Mom there a few weeks ago when she visited and we all enjoyed it; a nice little jaunt from TV of St. James.

She's right...it is 'very far North' for those way South of Spanish Springs.
It is a great place to eat, though, and if I lived not so close, I would still be willing to make the "trip".
