Default Can relative in Sumter Golf in TV?

My son (in his 30's) lives in Sumter County. I would like to take him golfing. The guest pass website says if a person resides in Sumter, Marion or Lake County they cannot get a guest pass.
So, if my child lives in Sumter County they can't golf in The Villages, but if they live in Orlando they can?

I think he can play at the country clubs. Although I don't golf, I could see the system being abused by guests from surrounding areas. Rules are rules

I am pretty sure immediate family (children) can have a guest pass if they live in Sumter. He would pay $10 green fee & $4 trail fee for the executive courses.

Immediate family members living in the Tri-County area can get an annual guest pass. They must be accompanied by The Villager but can go to the family and adult pools, rec centers, outdoor courts and even golf. Your son will have to pay the guest fee for golfing, but is more than welcome to join in.

You can get the guest pass for your son, daughter-in-law (I think), any grandchildren, grandparents, siblings at any Regional Rec Center. You'll have to provide your Villages ID and he will have to provide proof of address.

I guess this rules don't apply to other activities. I asked the same questions about pickleball and was told immediate family member automatically get guest passes with parents living in the villages. Looks like catch 22 or fubar to allow family members to play for free living off campus and not have to pay amenities?

Three county rule - yes to children, grandchildren and spouses - no to siblings

The above link is pretty old but last year the escort three county guest rule was instituted for at least the country club pools - I don't know if escort for all activities is required. No escort need for guests outside the three counties.

When I got the passes for my daughter and grandson, I was told I had to escort to any activities.

For those who object to the family guest pass rule, would it be fair that my grandson could never enjoy a Camp Villages activity because they live in Summerfield while your grandchildren could because they were from Michigan?
