Is there any regulations about using a charcoal grill or smoker???

I did some smoking for awhile at my current house, not in the villages. My neighbors didnt care but i can see how some people could object.

I've used a charcoal grill with no complaints. The only way to grill. Using gas is just cooking outdoors. There is also a store that sells charcoal and pellet grills so I sure hope they are "permitted".
