Default Do you love your neighborhood?

Do you love or dislike your neighborhood and why? Examples might be your awesome neighbors, proximity to entertainment or shopping, golf courses, etc. I realize this is a very subjective question. Different strokes for different folks. I'm curious to hear what people have to say about various areas of TV. PS - Feel free to PM me if you wish.

Love my neighborhood.
We are in Hillsborugh, right off Cosmos. We live in the Ventura Villas.
We are a 10 minute golf cart ride from 7 executive golf courses.
Same for 3 country clubs.
Same for 5 rec centers,
We are really close to Brownwood.
Also close to Winn Dixie and Publix.
We play Mexican train once a week, Samba every other week.
We have driveway parties once a month.
Ladies shopping days.
Men's golf with breakfast on Saturday.

Yes, we love our Neighborhood. We are in the village of Summerhill. We are close to restaurants and stores. But what makes us love our neighborhood the best are the neighbors on our street. Ladies lunch every other month. Couples dinner the other months. Very nice, friendly, helpful people.

Yes we are Happy with our neighborhood Bonita. We're close enough to both Sumter Landing & Brownwood. Colony shopping center is close enough as is Havana and the Rec Centers. Plenty of pools nearby and the neighbors are helpful and friendly. What more can one ask for.

Another Hillsborough. I love my neighbors, the five-minute golf cart ride to Brownwood. Socials, road trips, card games, water volleyball ~ I love it here.

Is that Hillsborough area considered a new or recently built neighborhood(s)?

Yes if "recent" is within the last five years.

Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Collier are "new" and close to Brownwood and grocery stores. More and more retail and commercial is coming to this area as a result of the population growth.

We are in this area. We love the perfect location and our neighbors.

There are a lot of people living in the Historic area and love that too.

I know I will get flack for taking the following position but I still say some neighborhoods fit some people needs better than others. It all depends on what is most important to a particular person.

All neighborhoods are pretty good especially if one has good neighbors. Some people like to be close to doctors, shopping, restaurants and big box stores. Some may like to be close to golf courses and rec centers. Hillsborough has a younger population demographic.

I like my neighborhood because it only has one entrance/exit gate so it is very quiet. Vendors are here during the day but there is no through traffic. Close to everything, shopping, doctors, restaurants and big box stores. Downside is no rec center but I am close to several in a short golf cart ride.

Make a list to decide what is most important to you!

Our five year old neighborhood is very near Lake Sumter Landing and Publix and Winn-Dixie and many restaurants and doctors and dentists. It is right on 466 and Arnold Palmer Golf course surrounds us. We have 54 homes only and all nice people live in them.

Bridgeport at Laurel Valley.

BUT we loved Hadley before we moved from there.

Hi, we live close to Sumter Landing, well we do like it and yet we are concerned about the ( Please do not send me flack on this) excess cars in street long term etc. Also there is some landscape anomalies that are a bit out of line for sure. It seems we could have some better control of the areas, we are all living here after a choice, the choice was a nice place with controls, some of those controls do not actually exist. Why have a garage full of junk and the driveway and street with so many cars? Just wondering.
