Classic rock with a Beatles themed program on Sunday morning like the syndicated Beatles Brunch or Breakfast with the Beatles.

Listen on your computer WIND-FM | The Classic Rock Station Everyone on this topic, you can have any music type you want, essentially whatever you wished for. It's called XM/Sirius Radio. I've had it in my car for 5 years and it's great. Drive to the beach or to Orlando and it never goes out, no hunting for a new station. I've got 18 presets on my radio. My neighbor has one in his golf cart, it's clear as bell, no stereo fading out. I don't know why anyone who takes their music seriously wouldn't have it in their car. No it's not free, but aren't most things that are worth having cost extra. If you were an 80's MTV fan, 4 of the original 5 VJ's work at XM/Sirius. I hear Mark Goodman all the time on the classic rock channels. Get Started - SiriusXM Radio |

What I find amazing about new country, is it's nothing more than watered-down southern rock, even Tom Petty called it bad rock. Listen to your 70's and 80's albums by Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Blackfoot, The Outlaws, Tom Petty, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Black Oak Arkansas, Rossington Collins Band and if we can expand to the west coast, let's throw in The Doobie Bros and The Eagles and contemporary bands Kings of Leon and Alabama Shakes. All these bands are heads and shoulders above new country.
If I were stuck listening to only new artist, then without a doubt I would take new country over hip-hop and rap. I can't even consider them music in the true sense of a singer backed by a band. That's what I would really like to know, why do people listen to rap? What is appealing? There are many newer artist out there that I like such as Kings of Leon, Alabama Shakes and The Wall Flowers.
